Stuff and HO HO HO?

I really, honestly doesn't feel like the holidays here. Seriously. The lack of snow and the face I work night shift means I'm not bombarded with HOLIDAY CHEER from all angles. I'm forever grateful for this, of course.
Bob loaned my his iriver for an indetermined amount of time. I'm currently transferring my 10gigs of music over to it. It's a 20gig. Woo. The only downside to it is that it freezes from time to time. But that's fixed by hitting the reset button, or waiting a few minutes. It's also heavy enough that I know I'm carrying it and it's not pretty and shiny so I won't mistake it for candy!
So, yey.
I need to find a 10 volt adapter for the scanner I picked up. All we have in the apartment are 12 or 5 volts. Which sucks ass. I'll have to hit up the thrift stores again and see what I can find. It's such a small, smiple thing, too. Lame.
I haven't had much in the way of art lately. Which sucks.
