Stuff and RAMBLE

obliviousally_ljI slept too much. I went to lay down around 4PM, after we came back from lunch at Azteca and a short trip to Safeway. I've just been feeling blah because of the cramps (way to totally not give me a heads up, ovaries!!) and I've spent my two days off mostly laying in bed. Ah well.
I work the next couple days. Except for Thanksgiving, on which I'm off because we're closed. Black Friday I get to NOT deal with the psychotic general public because I will (hopefully) be outta there by 6AM. But I'm sure we'll have, like, two ginormous trucks and be stuck there until 8AM. But whatever, I'll deal.
I need to find out when my first payday is. I don't know if it's this Friday (please, please) or next Friday (uuuuugh). It'll be so nice once I'm getting regular paydays. So, so, SO nice.
I haven't been drawing much. I need to be, though. I have a few more commissions lingering about. Maybe I'll take good paper to work with me toight and try to get something done on my lunch.
I need to clean critter cages today. Before I get some sleep (again) before work this evening.
My new desktop is sexy. I haven't changed my background or WindowBlinds in a loooooooooooooong time. So I was well overdue for a change:

I don't know who drew the picture. I found it on 4chan's /cm/ board. So if anyone knows the artist, let me know! And, yes, I do play WoW on occassion. Right now my acccount's inactive cause I don't have the monies for it. But once I get paid regurarly, I may start back up. I'm just taking advantage of the trial accounts right now.
Hrm. What else?
It doesn't feel like November/almost December here. I'm still wearing a hoodie comfortably. There's been no sign of snow, just a little frost in the early morning. It's very strange. It also screws with my sense of time because I don't realize that Thanksgiving is THIS WEEK because, back in Ohio, it'd be snowing regurarly by now. It's very, very strange. I don't mind the lack of snow. It's just weird.
Despite not having my subscription anymore, I've been spending alot of time on DA because I REALLY LIKE the new gallery system. REALLY. Like, at fist I was all 'oh, jesus fuck, what is this shit??'. And then I poked around with it and was like 'OH. this is actually pretty nice.'.
I have this small stack of really nice thin cardboard (as opposed to the bag of miscellaneous cardboard!) that I want to do something with. Maybe some sort of series. TJ suggested tarot cards. And I've really been wanting to do a mock tarot deack. Even if it's just the major arcana. It's tempting, but we'll have to see how quickly I lose interest. I also have plans for one of the larger cardboard pieces I have. I want to do an old library scene with Poe and Uno (TJ's striped hyena priest) researching old books and all that jazz. And excuse to practice background and lots of pretty ornate decorations.
This is getting pretty long.
Bob bought me this fancy chai that I'm afraid to make for fear of screwing it up. It's got loose tea leaves and loose spices and I'm like 'jesus christ, man, this is too fucking fancy for my lazy ass'. Also, raspberry honey. Which is win. <3 And some other really good honey. And I'm not big on honey, so me saying that it's good is definately something.
I think, when I get paid, I'm gonna pick up a box of christmas cards and send some out. I like getting cards and mail and stuff, and I know there's a few people out there doing card exchanges.
Our phones are still being tards. They won't ring in, so anyone that calls gets the voicemail by default. I can receive text messages, however. So that's good. And I can call out. Which is also good. So at least we have some sort of contact.
My leg is falling asleep. Aaaugh.
I should eat. And wake up some more. Early morning baths are nice because it's so quiet in the house.
