Stuff and MOVING AND SUCH...
Sep. 20th, 2007 07:21 pmDelays are a pain in the ass. Currently, all that we're waiting on is my new ATM card and TJ needs to renew her license and plates before we leave, so she doesn't have to do it out there. TJ got new tires yesterday, so that's out of the way.
Bob's out at sea until Wednesday. We're aiming to get to Seattle, hopefully, Monday. Sooner, if things go well.
It's been a little aggravating, but it's going along okay.
I want to see Angie before we leave. We've seen Kelson and Rob (who we need to see again to return games). My mom and Lynn. I stopped to see my grandma who I believe didn't even recognize me. I doubt she did, I look a smidge different since I chopped most of my hair off and all that.
I've been spending most of the last few weeks packing things and figuring out what I can fit in and on (we picked up a nice roof luggage carrier) the car.
Honestly, I can't wait to be on the road. I'm craving something new.
I had a dream last night where we (me, TJ and Angie) were trying to figure out how to keep the trailer. It had a koi pond out back and everything. I'd really love to live with Angie again. We all got along so well. I miss sitting around and bullshitting, watching bad movies, going garbage picking, driving around for no reason. Trips to Goodwill and the dollar store. Yelling at the cats and roleplaying. Reorganizing the house, planning on fixing the place up, tending to the garden. Etc., etc., etc.
