The urge to drastically overdraw my bank account is SO tempting. Just to get out of this shithole.

Work, this far, is nonexistent. West said that, because I'd be a rehire, it could take up to thirty days to process my shit and see if they'd even want me back. Everywhere else, I have to wait two to three weeks for a paycheck. The seasons are starting to turn, so there's no outside labor work like landscaping or anything. Going out of Labor Ready means that three quarters of my check ends up back in the gas tank (they send you out to the middle of fucking nowhere, really. everywhere I've ever been sent has been AT LEAST a thirty minute drive one way.).

This is getting frustrating and tiring, especially because I want to be out of here before winter. And winter comes early in the Rockies, which we're going to be driving through.

TJ went to the doctor's today. She saw someone else aside from Dr. Scott, who's a fucking quack and doesn't do shit for her. The other doctor gave her some cholesteral medication and put her on a cheaper antidepressant. Hopefully it won't fuck with her.

We bought some food. Splurged a little and got some of the seasoned burgers from the meat counter. They were alot cheaper than I expected. And the doctor wants TJ to eat decently while she's on the cholesteral medication. So, no fried foods. He said to ease off the red meat, but she needs it for her iron and such. It's so fucking hard to eat healthy here. Even the organic and natural stuff is, like, almost twice the price of everything else.

You don't need to buy the organic and natural stuff to eat healthy, just watch what it is you're shoving into your mouth. Like instead of fried chicken, make a baked chicken, for example. Little things like that tend to go a long way.

Mmm.. cream of chicken and rice with boneless skinless chicken breast <3

Seconding that organic food is unnecessary and makes little difference nutritionally. Organic is more marketing than anything else.

Chicken is healthy and also dirt cheap if you buy whole broiler/fryers and break them down yourself, if you're up to it. It's not hard at all after your first couple, and you can turn the leftover bones into stock and have a soup night for no extra cost.
