Stuff and Y'KNOW...
Jul. 31st, 2007 02:57 pmIt's stupid and irrational, but I REALLY hate it when people are close friends with people I don't like. I think it's some sort of aries/female jealousy rearing it's ugly head. It's very bizzare.
Last day with internet, likely. I don't have the $80 to put on it. Sad.
Moving shit all this week. Pain in the ass. Gonna aim for being out of here by the weekend.
Ditched work. It was stupid of me, I know. But I have way too much shit to get done ASAP. Sorry, guys. I still love you. Don't hate me. D:
Debating on if I should just go in and pick up my check today. Feels kinda trashy if I do, though. May just let them mail it out, I should get it by the weekend.
Very tired, slept alot yesterday.
I need to get money pretty quick here. I wish I could open commissions, but no. I already have WAY too much on my plate as is, and I've put THOSE ONES on hold for the time being. Which I do feel bad about. And taking MORE would be exceptionally trashy. So, no commissions. Lame. But no one wants prints or my shit on Furbid. Go figure.
Not much left to move. Furniture, the rest of our clothes, and the critters, I believe. Then, sorting through that for what we're taking to Seattle. And then busting my ass working to get the money to GO to Seattle. And trying to convince TJ that she'd be okay driving with a small trailer on the car, because even the BARE necessities aren't going to fit in the Cavvy. Even with my Gnawer-like packing skills.
Been poking around at places out where we'll be moving. The mall near the apartments actually has a page of places that are hiring. That's pretty cool. Or I could break down and play barista. Tips are nice, but food service is not. I don't want to go down that route. And I can't deal with serving yuppies stupid coffee drinks, anyhow.
(yes, I will drink said stupid coffee drinks, but I don't want to serve them.)
Regardless, it shouldn't be hard to find a job out there, I don't think. It might not be anything spectacular, but it'll be something. And that's all that matters to me. I need SOME sort of income.
I've also been poking around at urban exploration stuff out that way. The Seattle Underground looks pretty interesting. But finding places that AREN'T part of the tour would be doubly fun. I suspect I'll be riding the ferries over to the city alot.
We watched some movies we rented last week last night. Big Bad Wolf. Which was pretty eh. The beginning was bad, but the rest was okay. Nothing special. We also rented The Breed which was pretty cool. None of the characters were so unlikable that you hated them and the acting was pretty good. the dogs were assholes, however.
We also stopped at Giant Eagle last night for some foods. I got ice cream. Peanut butter cup ice cream. The best ice cream in the world. <3<3<3<3<3
