Stuff and HAPPY (LATE) FOURTH!!

obliviousally_ljToday has been just a LITTLE BIT of hell.
Work was boring and slow.
I spent the rest of the day working on the bat suit. All she needs now it the crotch trimmed and hemmed, and the bottom of the pants trimmed and hemmed. And then, it's all minor tweaking and making sure everything is sturdy and such.
The day was spent wanting to SCREAM and cry and burn the damned thing. Fucking aggravating.
On the other hand, Angie trekked with me up to an abandoned house and barn outside of the far side of the trailer park. It wasn't quite as exciting as I was expecting, but it was nice to get out and do some exploring again. The house was just a mess, the general disarray you find in places that have been abandoned and were never cleaned up. Pictures laying about, old magazines, STUFF in general. Records and stuffed animals, etc., etc. Pretty nice house, though. The barns and storage sheds out back were creepier, though. But I didn't get any bad vibes while out there. Just another place left for nature to take over again. Pretty in that rural decay sort of way. <3
Also, the lightning bugs were GORGEOUS tonight. They were all throughout the trees like twinkling Christmas lights. I wanted to take a picture, but I knew it wouldn't turn out. They were much prettier than the fireworks.
We also saw a deer.
I wish the area wasn't private property with posted no trespassing signs, it'd make great a LARP ground. Bah.
Now, to get some sleep. Matt's coming by in the morning to pick up his pants (which were finished, as well) and I have to work at 5PM tomorrow.
Oh, sweet christ, it's 5AM already. o_o;;;;
I still have badges to finish. Motherfuck. Try to get the two done before I leave and work on the Eken and Yin/Yang one on the way into Pittsburgh, perhaps. The Yin/Yang just needs colored, the Eken needs drawn and colored. I need to dig up reference for that, too.
God, I feel like I should just stay awake and finish all this shit, but I don't want to spend all of Friday sleeping.
