First, the visitors we had this evening!

























There were TWO of them tonight. A large one that cared not for my presence and just stared at me before waddling across the back stairs to the garbage can. And a smaller one, who has a 'hiss-off' with the larger one. And then he started barking at Toffee, who had joined me in the doorway (I was standing half in the house, and half on the porch). I believe the smaller one, with the pointier facemask and a bit of fur missing from his tail is Ryan Jr. The big one is new, I think.

I gave one of them half of a cupcake. Ryan Jr. is skittish and the larger one doesn't seem to care. He didn't come near me and he was alert to what I was doing, but he didn't seem to care that I was there.
