Stuff and ANOTHER DAY.
Mar. 8th, 2007 11:39 amMonster died. I have no photos of him. He hated photos and would hide. He really didn't like anything. We noticed him acting funny before we ran to TJ's appointment (he had been FINE yesterday!!), and we came back and he was gone.
What the fuck.
There's not something going around with the rats, everyone else who is young and healthy is doing fine. Harper is still romping, the new girls are doing very well, Mallow and Smores are the same as always and Mugen is fat and happy and demanding love.
Silky is STILL trucking. I'm holding off on possibly putting him down because, honestly, he really hasn't changed much from how he normally has acted. He's not a terribly active or friendly rat. He prefers to be let to himself.
Hickory is doing okay. She's getting along fine with Orange, but she just looks so depressed when she's in her cage. She just lays around and sleeps. I've got her on the chair with me and she took two chocolate chips and ate them and then started bruxxing. I think she's happy being close to mommy. I just wish she'd perk up a bit and be happy with her new cagemate, as well.
But, past all the depressing rat news, here's some cute rat pictures:

Hickory being wierd. This pic's about a year old. She's so pretty when she'll stay still for a pic.

Another of Hickory.

Fattums Mugen. This was in the car after his vet appointment the other day. We took him to the pet store and he got treats and even some of out brugers from Wendy's. He was esctatic.
Hickory's curled right up against my neck. Her cold nose keeps poking it. And now she's pecking at my hair.
What the fuck.

... I wanna squeeze Mugen like one of those stress balls until he squeeks. But knowing him h'd just make a freaky fat-man noise and ruin the experience ;-;
