Huh, so, I've apparently got $69 in the bank instead of $39. And when I call Time Warner, the broadband HAS been paid. Yes it doesn't show it it my account. This is strange, but not unfamiliar, it's happened before.

Keeper found a new, cute MMO. It's called Trickster Online and it's completely free. It's got cute animal people in it (a la nekogirls and such), inclunding: cats, lions, dragons, foxes, sheep, buffalo, raccoon. And NPCs that wear HYENA-imspired outfits. It's REALLY, really cute. If you download it and join, friend me, I'm Shira_Catrice on the Ruby server on there. We can go kill things together! The graphics are adorable and I want to EAT them. :3

Running out to do errands today, since it's slightly warmer (single digits up until today, where it's supposed to get to 19F). Wheeee....

Working on the 'shovelhead' pic still. Now I need to learn how to get blood and dirt to look good. And maybe half-ass a background or something. Cemetary? Field? I'm not sure yet. Angel was shoveled in a cemetary, so it might be fitting (even though Angel's DOING the shoveling, haha). Might change the colors on the guy, not sure if I like that baby-shit yellow color. I wanted it to be more of a tan, but I was lazy. I'm also not sure if I want to clean all the dirty sketchlines out of it or not. Hmm...

I tried Trickster and got tired of it after about two weeks. <.< Of course, I also have Maple Story, which I like way better anyway.

I wasn't keen on Maple Story. But it's graphics didn't pop out at me either. And that's part of what sells me on free games. XD

To be honest, Maple pissed me off. Their monster-spawn process was fucked up, spawning too many monsters in underpopulated zones, and half the time the monster spawn points were FUBAR. One region had every monster spawning off to the bottom right, where players can never get to them. It was insane. And instead of fixing these problems...

They pump out cute new costume you can temporarily pimp your character with. No game effect, just overdone cutesy pseudoanime outfits.

I don't play MMOs for the community aspects; I like the leveling and the powers. Also, I think the reason I love MS so much is it's a 2D platformer. And Trickster reminded me far too much of Ragnarok Online, which I loathe.

I'd have been willing to keep playing it if the monster spawns were so cocked-up. Seriously. And instead of rebalancing how and where and which monsters spawn, they make...Cute little 2D outfits you can use to individualize your character. Yay.

Judging by your above comment, it sounds like the spawn locations you're complaining about are the result of hacking. That's stopped happening since vac hacks were replaced by hit-all hacks. And, well, they've been cracking down on hackers a lot more recently.

Which is probably why I like Trickster, I adore RO, but it's far too huge of a program, and there's no good free/private servers. :P
