I would note that online games are addictive, if you have the wrong mindset. And it's easy, given that the majority of them force you to travel 'huge immersive worlds' to get to where the fuck you're going, and the way most of the demand that you spend time there to accomplish anything unless you and your friends you play with are content with the slower/less-active players being left so far in the dust that you can't actually play together with the more active ones.

Which, actually, was the whole reason I quit WoW, EQ, EQ2, Dark Age of Camelot, FFXI, and most other MMOs out there. ;p Everyone I played with who started off, "Yeah, we'll play together, keep working together all the way!" decided that my couple-hours-a-week tendency was just too slow and went off to level faster. And since I hate randomly grouping with the shitheads who seem to populate everything and refuse to learn how to play their class effectively... That leaves me bored, irritated, and rapidly quitting, because the addicts are fucking idiots.
