Take the Which Balto Character Are You? quiz at The Wolf Den.
New comic is UP! Woo hoo! It's the Memorial Day one, but still... There's gonna be the other half to the Leash pic coming up next, then there's gonna be lotsa fun. XD What it is, I'm not going to tell. You'll just have to wait and see. >:}
Beautiful day out. Hot as hell, but beautiful. ^_^;;
Me and TJ went to the mall the meet with the Limited Too manager for a short interview. The chick that interviewed me (most likely the associate manager, or whatever), was this woman in her...probably 30s, fake tan, obviously wearing clothes from the store. Which must not be a little girls store, cause the woman said I could probably fit the clothes. Yeah. Right. Like I'd wear any of it. I always hate when they ask you the honesty question (ex: "Have you ever been dishonest on the job", or something to that effect), cause I really try to be an honest person. Really. But my honesty is usually brutal honesty. And here's how the conversation went in my head:
Woman: Have you ever been dishonest on the job (or whatever the hell she asked me...)
Me: I try to be as honest as possible, so I have to tell you that that tan looks really fake. And you're too old to be wearing those clothes.
...it's better if I -don't- speak my mind in situations like that. >_>

Ran into Sparky! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! He's shiny and buff. ^_^ Rawr. XD He was happy to see us. He was going up to Kahunaville to meet this dude, who used to work in Gadzooks, for lunch. And, I quote:
TJ: "Lunch AND dessert, huh?"
Sparky: "Ohhhh yeah!"
We need more gay guy friends. ^__________^
Wanderwanderwander around the mall. Whee!
Then we went down to the African-American Festival and got some ribs. I wound up spilling some onto the grass. I was sad. ;_; Also went to the comic book store. Some creepy guy kept talking to us (well, mostly TJ) about Digimon and stuff. I hate people like that. >_< We ran into Jamaal. He's so cool. He was happy to see us. Went down to Perkins Park. I can't remember if I've mentioned this before, so here goes. From downtown, there's a bike trail that leads down by the river and around Perkins Park. You had to go across Mahoning Ave. and down a hill to get near the river. There's been trees and stuff down there for as long as I can remember. Well, a couple months ago, they began taking an assload of trees out. I'm not sure what for. But now, where there used to be this cool field and steps leading up to the city hall and one of the old historical landmarks, is all gone. The field and steps, not the other stuff. >_> And it pisses me off. It's just this huge lot of dirt, all the way down to the river. >___________________< *kills random humans* >_>
So, we eventually made it around the park to where the swingset is. Myself going barefoot at one point. ^_^ And we head down the bike trail towards the river, and there had been these two, maybe 10-13 year old boys gathering rocks -just- prior to us passing them. So we walk past, thinking nothing of it. Until they start throwing rocks. I didn't think they were throwing them at -us-, as just throwing them to throw 'em. But they were, so I stop and look back, as they run behind a tree. So I stand there and watch them, and I'll be damned if they don't come out and start throwing the rock again WHILE I'm standing there watching them. So I say something with the words "punk-ass bitches" in it, and the smaller one flicks me off! Oh, HELL no! So I tell him to bring it on. Come over and say that to me. And he started to head down there, then his friend held him back. So it basically consisted of me swearing at them while the flicked me off. TJ started pulling me away (just when I was starting to have fun!), and they followed! So I get the grand idea of calling the cops on them. I pull the cell out, stop, and turn around, telling them I'm gonna call. I dial 411 and they run for it. TJ did call the cops and report them, though. I was going to tell their parents, but they were there with some hick/drunkard-looking dude who I assumed was their father. And they didn't say anything to us when we doubled back around past them. Funny thing is, the one kid was apparently on a baseball team as he was wearing a baseball jersey. And he -could not- hit us, even when he was a couple yards away. Dumbass.
What else... No check. Hopefully it'll be here Monday. o_o And the Hot Topic people are gonna call us for an interview next week! Wheeeeeeee!
