Oh. Holy shit.

So, last night. We were GONNA go to the fetish ball at The Grid. But we debated over it and decided that $15 was just too much to pay for something when we really weren't sure what we'd be getting. Cause Squirrel said the one him and Joanna went to in the spring wasn't all that great. And I can pay $5 for an awesome stage show at Bounce and be just as pleased.

With that, we decided to go to Bounce.

But not after coming home and busting our asses for two hours to try and get TJ's costume finished. We did, eventually. After much anger and screaming and hating the sewing machine. I didn't get any pics, but she did get her pic taken at the club. I don't know if it'll be on thewebsite or not, though.

The drag show was great, as ususal. We got there halfway through it, but still. Good.

And here's where the fun begins!

So, TJ can't really drink cause she's driving. So she goes to the bar and I tell her to get me a peach long island and she gets herself one of those Smirnoff Twisted things which are like slightly alcoholic pop. We watch the show, go out into the bar area, I finish off my drink and we go back to dance.

Now, before I move on, let me point out that I can normally drink, like, 2-3 long islands in a night, plus maybe a shot or two and a few of those Twisted drinks. And I burn it off pretty evenly as long as I'm dancing. Which I usually do, for a good two hours.

So, after dancing for a bit, TJ drags me up to the bar and orders me...Mystery Drink 1. It was a doubleshot of a bnch of fruity liquors. Okay, I'm a little buzzed at this point. My balance goes first and REALLY fast when I drink. But I'm mostly just loosened up at this point. And that's fine by me.

We go back down and we dance for a bit. But the music isn't all that great. We go back up and sit to watch the stage and TJ goes to get me another drink. I'm fine with this, cause I know I haven't had that much to drink. But this is Mystery Drink 2. It's strong. It tastes of lemon and vodka. I drink a bit (the bartender, the awesome one, filled it completely to the brim) and we head out to the bar area again (if you're confused, there's two bars, one where the stage is and one out where the big video screens are, which is usually less crowded). As we come out into the light I exclaim 'OH! it's BLUE!' to my drink. Because it is. We sit, drink, and decide to head back in to find a more comfortable seat (the seats near the stage are cushioned). I get off my chair and I already know the drink's starting to kick my ass. I'm a just a LITTLE stumbly.

We find a seat and eventually I finish off my drink. I KNOW I shouldn't have. But I did.

And then we decide to head out. Sure! Great! Go home and sleep. Or sleep in the car.

We head down the stairs to go out towards the bar and that one stupid stair that I almost ALWAYS trip on because it's always darker than the others finally gets me. I miss it, aiming for the white tape that's on the floor to let you know 'hey! it's the floor!'. I stumble, fall and twist my ankle hardcore. TJ helps me up, one of the workers helps me up and we make it out around to the bathrooms where I sit down and make sure I can walk.

I'm also PRETTY drunk at this point. I think I can say I was drunk now, looking back on the night.

Eventually, I get back up and we actually make it out to the car. Sure, I'm stumbling and disoriented, but I'm doing pretty good!

In the car, I take my shoes and coat off and lay down. I kept apologizing and saying what an embarassment I was. I'm VERY talkative when I've have booze in my system. Everythings all fancy and pretty.

So, we head home. And I think I fell asleep after awhile. I do remember talking and talking and talking. Alot of 'i'm okay' and 'oh, my god'. As in 'oh, my god, why did I drink so much, this sucks'. TJ wakes me up when we get to the toll booth in Newton Falls (we took the turnpike, cause it was a bit quicker). I dig the money out for her and I know what's coming. I tell myself, 'wait until she's past the toll booth and have her pull over'. But my body doesn't like this idea and now I have to clean the passenger side of the car out. Ugh. Hot dogs and fries and BLUE. It was QUITE embarassing, but I'm glad it didn't happen in the club. Just...in the car. And on the side of the highway. Pretty sexy there. It could have been worse, I suppose, at least I aimed down and it mostly got on the floor. And myself.

We get home. I need assistance to get inside. I almost fall down the apartment stairs, as well. This could have been because I was barefoot, walking in the rain, and didn't have my glasses (all in the car). Inside, I manage to get out of my clothes, throw up again. This time in the toilet! Yay! I crawl into the bathtub (TJ ran me water) to clean up, which helps a bit. Manage to get out of the tub and into some underwear on my very own! TJ helps me back into the bedroom, but not before I have to throw up again! At least it's water (which TJ was making me drink. I didn't drink as much as I know I should have, but it did help). I finally make it into the bedroom to lay down. And I fall asleep pretty quickly.

I wake up and my ankle's killing me. I know it'll work itself out, this happens pretty often with me.

However, I do not have a hangover! Woohoo! I'm just really worn-out is all.

But, uh, there's my first drunken story. Yup.

At least you haven't done the 'At least half drunk, walking a completely trashed friend home through the rain at half past one in the morning only to be stopped and quizzed by a cop' story. ;)
