obliviousally_ljI'm not in a very spiff mood... I'm crampy, my stomach's upset on to of that, and I'm still experiencing the lingering effects of the NyQuil I chugged last night before dragging my pained self off to bed and writhing around while fading in an out of sleep. -_- I don't feel good at all. :P
On a better note, I did do my Christmas shopping on Friday. Although, both me and TJ should have held off doing that until -after- we bought necessities, like food and stuff. :P But we were both happy to have money. We each opened 3 gifts that night. Now, I don't have anything to give to TJ until the stuff from eBay gets here. ^_^;;; But I bought TJ the Scary Tales Big Bad Wolf (which she loved), a little Chococat plush (it's so soft! and it now resides pinned to her bookbag), and this little wooded wolf ornament (she said she's gonna hang it from her rearview mirror in the car). She bought me a Popple! XD I sleep with it now. ^_^ It's Pixie-Doodle, if anyone's wondering. ^_^ I love it. And she got me the Craig David CD. XD *squeal* It's really good, too. Not too many pic in the booklet, but at least it has lyrics. ^_^ And...oh! Some Disney cats pins. I gave her the Siamese Cats and the pin that says "pet me". I thought it was appropriate. I have the Cheshire Cat, the cat from Cinderella and the pin that says "I didn't do it" on my messenger bag. The pin with Marie (I think...) from The Aristocats is the only one that wasn't claimed. I'll probably put it on my bag. ^_^;; And she still has 2 more gifts for me. x_x One from the snowglobe place, and something else from Hot Topic (the pins were from there, too). XD I bought my mom a little cat ornament that looks like our one cat, Sox. And I picked my grandma up a pretty little angel ornament. I bought myself (out of $100-some) a little fox Puffkin and some glowing bracelets and a little crate to keep all my crap in in the back. So it's not strewn all over the place. ^_^;;;
TJ's addicted to Golden Sun now. Like, obsessive Gaz-like addiction. She's been playing it all day. Well, at least since we got home from delivering gifts. At least she enjoys it. It's the only thing her mom bought her. And the cheapest item on the list. So I told her mom today that Toys 'R' Us had the Digivices back it. Drill that into her head. >_< Oh! Speaking of Gaz and through that, Invader Zim. Hot Topic has patches and postcards now! TJ got the Zim patch, but the didn't have anymore Gir. :P But they said that they'll be getting more in after Christmas. And more of my Gir shirt. They also had laynards and shoelace. TJ bought a pair of shoelaces. They look cool on her boots. ^_^
Anyways, after out excursion at the mall, we stopped and ate at the Chinese buffet. They had crab legs. :9 And we definitely ate $8.99 a piece in crab legs. ^_^ TJ paid and I picked up the tip. ^_^
Went shopping yesterday. On our $40 left over from the mall. Actually, my $40, but I intended to buy groceries this week anyways. ^_^ And we still managed to pick up cough drops for TJ and a phone card so she could call Otty. Had Wendy's for lunch, put gas in the car, -and- got a $20 money order for TJ's Klaive necklace she won off eBay. Damn we're good. ^_^
TJ's kinda worried about her job. I guess she called today, and they don't have her scheduled for the rest of the week. I understand her not being scheduled for the day or two after Christmas, cause she can't do returns because she's seasonal, but I guess whoever was working says she's not on the schedule at all. :P I need to finish filling out these two applications in front of me, cause I need to get a job ASAP. :P Not only for the fact that I'd like some money for myself, but I feel like such a freeloader staying here and not helping out with groceries and stuff. I mean, I do alot of stuff around the house, and I cook, but that doesn't feel like enough to me. And I desperately need new clothes and stuff. x_x Must...get job. Soon. >_<
Well, since my back's starting to hurt, I'm going to head off to bed now. Happy Holidays to everyone!
