Inked version of a pic I posted awhile back. Felt like doing something on my work break, so I inked it. Looks pretty nice, although I didn't go in and clean things up after I streamlined. Ah well. *lazy*

Phe in something that's NOT jeans and a tank top/t-shirt. OHMY. I think she looks pretty.

Headshot, cause I really liked how her hair looked. Although, I think her face is completely lopsided. x_x
Work was work. Tomorrow is more work. But Rob's coming to visit. Payday's on Thursday. Hurrah.
Bought Animal Crossing. Glee. <3 And TJ bought Zoo Tycoon to occupy herself when her Nintendogs are being lazy and tired.
I need to work on commissions but, honestly, I haven't had the time. Most of them just need colored, and I've been sketching out the other two I have to do. But I don't have references printed out because the printer's being a whore. And I'd LOVE to try and get some more work on
But I'm wangsting. WHINE. :O Things'll get done, it's just not happening right now and I feel bad because I really do hate making people wait longer than they have to. x_x
And, because I totally keep forgetting to post these; here's some arts that I've gotten lately. <3

Me and Fel did a sketchbook trade when he crashed at

Pic TJ commissioned from

Pic from Faroresama@DA, she was taking requests for oekaki pics and I can't help but jump for free art. XD I love the flamey phoenix, too. <3

Date: 2005-11-30 10:44 pm (UTC)I'm terrible with tablet inking, although I'm getting a little better. The trick is to not bother making it look perfect. I use openCanvas for most of my tablet stuff, since it's most like paintchat and all and I'm pretty used to that.
For regular, traditional inking, I just use Sakura Microns. I used to be REALLY terrible with inking, now I'm just terrible. X3 When I ink I usually sketch, then put down prelim inks (just one go-over on the pic), then I erase and start to do thick and thin lines and details and stuff. I make it sound like I'm good at it, but I'm not. XD
Also, Streamline's a difficult program to work with. Sometimes things don't come out quite right and you have to go back in and edit them. And if you smooth too much, things become blobby. And, for some reason, my copy of it won't save the image right when I go to open it elsewhere, it's just a silhouette(sp?). So I have to fullsize it and c&p the image over to a paint program one section at a time. I don't know what's wrong with it. >_o
Past that, it's a really nice program for getting good graphic inks. This (http://fallenangel.furtopia.org/ART/Junk/phe_streamlined.png) (warning, HUGE image. o_O) is what a streamlined pic looks like before I start to color it. I can just lay down flat colors without having to set multiply for my layers. It's really nice for cell-shaded style pics, too.
Okay, done babbling! :O
