OMFG. Computer, you can eat me.

Any ideas, people?

Also, I'm pretty sure this isn't a good sign, either.

Well, it wants you to run chkdsk, so I suggest you start with doing that.

Having a corrupt system32 directory is BAD, and would also explain the missing control panels, as most of the internal workings of your computer are in that corrupt directory. Run a Chkdsk by opening up my computer, right clicking on your c: drive and clicking properties, followed by tools, and then "Error-Checking". Click the "Automatically fix file system errors", but leave the other option unchecked, and let it go.

It may fail, but if it does, it will ask you if you wish to run it again at boot. Tell it yes, and restart. While XP is loading, it'll kick you over to a pretty looking console and run ChkDsk in XP's DOS before letting your system boot, and that should fix you right up. :3

Well, I'm no expert, but I've been dealing with similar crap all week. What I'd do is...
1. Slave the primary HD in that system to another machine
2. port over all the important stuff (this might be impossible if your pr0n take up too many gigs, though)
3. reformat
4. OS reinstall

Tough, but there's no way it'll fail.

Well, I'm thinking getting a Windows XP disk and popping it in SHOULD repair any bad or corrupt files. But it's a matter of getting a XP disk. x_x

I've done so many reformats in the last two years that I don't want to deal with it. x_x
