I'd like to point out that the place I grew up and the place I live now are, pretty much, the exact same place (picture-wise. I've lived in Warren most of my natural life.). The first picture is of the courthouse square downtown and, if you were to go to the right in the picture, you'd end up on Market St, which is the road in the second picture. But I just realized that the second picture is quite old, as I don't recognize any of the businesses in it. Crazy.

In other news, me and [livejournal.com profile] keeperofdreams have some hats up for auction on Furbid. There's a lizard, a fox and a mouse. We're seeing if they even sell before possibly making custom ones. We're thining about making some for Colossal Con, too.

Mmm, almost break time.

*molestflee!* The sewing machine broke again. :( The thread keeps getting caught in the bobbin, so I cannot make more of your slavehats. :(

Take the whole bobbin case out. There's two little yellow tabs on the inside, get something small (the the eyeglass screwdriver or something similiar) and pop them out (or in, as the case may be). Take the whole thing out, clean out the thread from in it and under the metal coverings, if need be. Put it all back in, rethread and it properly.

NOW. Get a scrap piece of fabric, sew it a bit and then remove it. It should work fine after that. Hopefully.

You'll just stare at this and go back to trying to install RO, won't you?

Nope, not messing with that evil hunk of metal. X(

And I've cleaned it twice. Each time it just got caught again. Bleah.

Arg. I'll mess with it when I get home.

Oh, I've posted the Furbid auctions on my DevART gallery and over at the ColossalCon forum. Is that alright?
