Stuff and OH MY FUCKING GOD.
Jan. 11th, 2005 10:41 pmBOTH of our computers are DEAD. Totally dead. That means that I will still be MIA for...uh...I don't know how long. Commissions will get done when they get done, can't do much about that. Can't do much about anything at this point.
Other than that, while I have a moment to type something up and I'm not glaring at the computers, things have been 'eh' mostly. I lost my rat Keet the weekend before last. Which sucked. She must have eaten something bad, I think. I'm still not used to het not being there to leap at me and groom my hands and try to crawl inside my mouth. Her cagemate, Pya, is doing well though. I did buy another little female so Pya won't be alone but I fear she might have myco or something because she's been sneezing really badly and I don't think it's because of the change of shavings. Hopefully I don't lose her too.
My mom's been staying at the christian mission place and trying to do the rehab thing. She's been doing really well and I've been spending a decent amount of time with her. But, as always, I don't expect too much. But I suppose I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
Now that my seasonal job at Suncoast is finished it's time to find some other money-making work. Gonna start going out of Labor Ready again and such. College is going to start in March or so, whenever summer semester starts. That should be an adventure. Peril's been sending us stuff on top of stuff for it, too. So at least we have people looking out for us. ^_^
Also, to anyone who may have or anyone who regurarly downloads my art, make sure you run it through a virus check or something. There could be something piggybacking on it from whatever annihaliated my computer. :P
I finally got a bank account, so I can possibly start selling art and maybe doing commissions once things get back to normal. Augh.
I've got about a bajillion things to go through and catch up on and I doubt it will happen right now. Anyone who wants/needs to get ahold of my can text message me.
I finally got to see Samurai Champloo, which ROCKS HARDCORE. And TJ picked up the Star Ocean EX boxset, which is also good.
I supposed this no-computer thing isn't too bad. I've been spending alot of time doodling (once I was done at Suncoast) and working with real media and such. Lots of marker pics to upload. Whee! :D
