Stuff and FEELING LESS EMO.

obliviousally_ljWell, things are feeling a little better over in the land o' Ally.
Gathered up a bunch of CDs and DVDs that we don't use anymore/as much and traded them in. Also traded in a few GBA games (note: Babbages gives THE MOST for trade-ins. The gave me, like, $16 for three games and EB only wanted to give me, like, $5 TOPS.) and traded in one of TJ's PSXs that was laying around (we had two before the trade-in). And, after all that, we got $36.Not bad, but I think we would have gotten more for Excel Saga vol.6 and Puni Puni Poemy elsewhere (one used game store gave me, like $12 for my Chobits DVD). But ah well.
We bought wax worms for Merangue (which she LOVES. Almost bit TJ's finger trying to get one.) and some more gerbil food. We bought some food for ourselves. Well, for me, as TJ's being a little grumpy about the food situation but that's okay. I think alot differently than she does, but she needs to eat SOMETHING, as she's feeling lightheaded. Hopefully she'll come around. :P
Stopped by the hospital to see my mom. Nurse almost had a coniption cause I was there after visiting hours. Despite the fact that I'm allowed to see her whenver I want, as I'm listed as the emergeny contact/next of kin/etc. They can only release information to me and stuff. She's doing well. They still don't know exactly what's wrong with her, but she's in good spirits at least. She was happy to hear about me and TJ getting into Akron and stuff, too.
Gotta work at 9AM tomorrow. Eewwww. I've gotta call Labor Ready and tell them that I want to work this weekend and that I'll pick my tickets up before I got to my dayturn job. Hopefully they'll give me midnights at Champion. That way I can get some munchies and put gas in the car. And then we'll be okay for taking Streaky to the vet and getting some more food. And I'll see if I can work all week, since I don't work again until the 10th.
Got some oatmeal for Streaky and he loves it. He loves everything we give him. But it's good that he likes it, and hopefully it'll help to bulk him up a bit more.
I actually have some pic ideas, thanks to TJ. <3 So I'll have to get around to pushing them out of my head. I'll get commission progress scanned tomorrow or Sunday probably (I've got most of the inks down on yours,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
