Work went quickly. I was really suprised that I wasn't all against going back to work right after our trip. I guess bouncing right back into my routine was a good thing. My feet hurt, but I'll get over it. Money tomorrow means getting TJ's car tags and putting money aside for car insurance.

The visit to carvedinshadows' place was wonderful. Hot tubbing in my undies in 30 degree weather at 11PM was wonderful. <3

On the way home, we stopped off in Hamilton cause we needed to exchange money and TJ had things she wanted/needed to do. I napped in the car after feeling LOTS of hostile vibes towards me at one point. But that's alright. Went downtow, exchanged money, stopped at the Hair Lady/Oracle's place. We didn't leave until 8PM. Seriously. Like, 10 hours after our planned departure time. x_x TJ got her hair straightened, and it looks really nice now. The bangs are a neat change. :D I was told by the Hair Lady that my hair is getting done next time we come up (whenever that may be). o_o; I also got to wander around downtown Hamilton, which I love doing, and got some lemon Hi-Chew and some apple Pretz at the Asian Mart in Jackson Square. Driving home consisted of our normal rest stop being closed due to construction and keeping TJ awake the rest of the way.

Tomorrow is work again and getting the above mentioned stuffs. Wheeee...

I'm also a little peeved about the results of the Chara Design contest over at Kitten Box. And no, it's not because I didn't get an award. You all should know I'm not rabid about those kinds of things. I'm peeved because there was a special award given for Best Swan when that was ONLY ONE SWAN-RELATED DOLL. And Best Undead when there was ONLY ONE UNDEAD-RELATED DOLL. OMFG. I really think this is stupid and, well, stupid. I can understand special awards like Best Gothic and Best Hair and things like that, but when you get specific about shit, you're playing favorites. Fucking god, I can't believe I'm complaining about doll-related thing. It just pisses me off. >_<

Now, to drink my chai and upload pictures. Whee!

Wow, you got to walk around downtown Hamilton? ...Yeah, so did I, my boyfriend lives there. :) He gave me a walking tour when I went to visit last month. He said it's 'dead', but I dunno, I didn't see any boarded-up stores. Looked pretty lively to me for a Friday evening!

A lot of Asian shops there, too. Interesting place. :) What did you think?

Actually, I'm pretty familiar with downtown Hamilton. The last two trips I joined TJ on up there meant me getting to wander around. There's SO MANY THRIFT STORES. And it's so hard for me not to blow all my money in them. x_x Evenings are pretty lax compared to during the day in the summer and fall. It was pretty busy over the weekend when I was up there.

For the hell of it. No-girl's hair colors are, like, pink and blue, so I thought I'd put both of those. And Gwen's colors are purple and pink, so I put both of those. :D Just random playing around with the selection tool. :3
