I am so FUCKING SICK of the computer rebooting. It's done it 7 times this morning. 4 of which were while it was rebooting. I need to find some way to upgrade this piece of shit before I scream. Because currently, I can't work on anything unless I'm not doing anything else. And that doesn't even guarantee that the program won't crash or that the computer won't reboot while I'm working on something and possibly corrupt the file. And if it does that I'm simply going to give up and drop the damn thing out of a window. From, y'know, higher up than our basement apartment.

The core of this problem is the memory. We need more RAM. Badly. But I don't know what kind the computer has and Rob, who said he was going to upgrade our computer after he did his conviently changes the subject whenever it's brought up. Fucking christ, I just want to be able to CG and do my comissions and shit and be online at the same time. Is that too fucking much to ask?

Er, rebooting randomly? That sounds more like a virus than a RAM problem. I know there was one going around that caused random rebooting.
Try running an anti-virus and checking for Windows updates.

Well, not technically rebooting randomly. We have the computer set so that, when there's a critical problem it'll give us the blue screen and tell us what's wrong. Recently, it's been those stupid STOP errors. We did have a virus before, but it was a different one. I know we don't have one currently, cause I keep a good watch on those things. It more or less boils down to the fact that we have very, very little memory and I tend to run too much crap. :P

Worm: MyDoomA. Random reboots, network trolling to spread itself, and intended to cause a DoS attack on... who was it... SCO?
