I seem to be awake. Even though I intended to sleep until 4AM or 4:30AM. Ah well. I slept most of the day (until 7PM) and got a few hours tonight. I just need to get massive amounts of sugary substances in my system to keep me going. But that rarely works anymore. Maybe I need to start picking up the adrenaline drinks and stuff. But, it seems, no matter how much sleep I get or what I eat to keep me going through the day, I'm always tired sometime after lunch. Usually between 1PM and 5PM.

And then there's the heat. It's supposed to be 82F today. Luckly, we have fans and stuff that work for the first 6 or so hours, but then they start blowing out hot air. So, if I'm lucky, I'll be near a bathroom or the break room or the doors so, as long as I'm on a slow press, I can bask in the AC for a few seconds.

But I'm whining and I really don't mean to whine, it's jsut a bitch. But, if it means not working in retail, I'll suffer through it.

In other news, nothing much happened today as, like I mentioned above, slept until 7PM. When I did et up, me and TJ went up to Walmart to snag some food and lucnh for work and stuff. We also swung by Giant Eagle for donuts. Yumyum.

I've now got about two hours to blow before I have to go down to Labor Ready and get my ticket. And then I get paid tomorrow. And then I get a nice, hefty check on Monday for the weekend. With overtime pay. Whee! The only thing I really have to worry about is paying off the cell phone (which only has $50-something left on it! Yay!). And then I have two days off and next weekend off. Woot.

Converted to Pacific, that's like 10am-2pm. You'd do wonderfully on graveyard shift out here, wouldn't you now?

I'd do great on graveyard shift anywhere. :P

Granted, but most places have a pathetically limited selection of graveyard shift jobs.

I suppose the Really Big Cities elsewhere in the country also have a selection of night shift jobs...
But here has such a fascinating variety. ;p
