obliviousally_ljSo, today was relatively eventful. Suprisingly.
This morning, Chuu (our heathen ratbeast) managed to squeeeeeeeeeze into Rocky and Slim's (two of our bearded dragons) cage. Now, this is just a bad situation in the first place, had we even realized he'd gotten in there (and I was laying at the foot of the bed, where the cage is!). Then, we head some scratching on the glass. We figured it was Chuu trying to jump up on the cage, not frantically get out of it. After a few minutes, I decided it should be Chuu's bedtime, and I went to find him, only to glance inside the cage and see him trying to get out (obviously, he didn't think through his escape route). I open the cage, snatch him out and put him back in his cage. And then we realize that Rocky's puffed up, mouth gaping and has blood on him. 'Oh, shit,' we think. So, we manage to calm Rocky down enough so he's not wheezing/hissing at us and we gave him a bath and cleaned his wounds. Chuu managed to get two goo bites on his head. One -right- above his eye and one on the back of his head. He also bit off one of Rocky's spikes. Rocky managed to bite Chuu's paw. We figure, because Chuu didn't bother Slim (who was right near where he dropped into the cage), he probably walked over Rocky, who woke up and freaked out to see something that big in his cage. Hissed and puffed and mouthgaped, causing Chuu to react in defense and both of them to defend each other. But, thankfully, the only got those few bites in and left each other alone instead of getting into a full-out reptile/rodent brawl. But, Rocky's doing well, thankfully. He's been taking all of out cooing and cleaning him very well (even though he hates baths and will puff up at me when I give him one). And Chuu's paw is okay, as far as I can tell. It was quite the interesting morning indeed. o_o
After that ordeal, we stayed up and watched cartoons. Fillmore was a new episode (to me, at least), and then I crashed until 3PM, when TJ woke me up. Around 5PM we headed over to Akron to meet up with the rest of the Colossal Con volunteers and all that. Good people. I think I'm pretty much in charge of all the art stuff, cause we agreed that last year, everything was a mess and unorganized. So they're happy to have people that are dedicated to actually working this year. :D
Fuckin' Ragnarok keeps lagging for me, so I can't play it. ;_;
And it's really, really cold in the bedroom. So much so that my fingers aren't happy. And I also just realized that my nails are getting too long to type with. Hm.
I've got about a thousand art things I need to do. A comission, some art for the con (I'm actually planning on entering something decent! Whee!), and...uh...there's more stuff, I'm sure. >_>
I'm gonna go upload stuff to DeviantART and mill around a bit. Whee!
