But it wasn't all I thought it was going to be. And I wasn't even getting my hopes up about it.

A Revolutions rundown, now that I have the time. Spoilers behind the cut. You've been warned.

The Hell Club fight scene was nice. And Trin calling the Merovingian 'Merv' was hilarious. A pity Persephone didn't get more screen time/lines. I liked her. And no Twins? Bah. I really started to like them after watching Reloaded a few more times (not like I didn't think they were badass in the first place).

I felt the Zion battle was far too long for its own good. About halfway through it I was wondering 'What happened to Neo and Trin?'. Sure, it was great for explosions, and Mifune kicked ass and all that, but it was basically shots of the sentinels flying around, shots of the mechs shooting the sentinels, and shots of Zee and whatsherface trying to make the drill go explody.

My god, Trin and Neo. All the interaction between them made me want to cry, because I knew -one- of them was going to die before the end of the movie. After Bane burned Neo's eyes, the sound in his voice when he was calling for her? ;_; And the scene where she dies? My god, it was like, the second time during the movie that I was in tears.

For once, i really wasn't trying to pick out all the hidden meanings in the movie because, personally, I didn't feel there were many. I mean, it obviously had the whole christian tone to it (although not enought that I really even cared or felt the need to bitch about it). But truthfully, I barely even paid attention to it, because I was so caught up in everything else.

The Super Burly Brawl was pretty badass, though. :3

And I reallyreally loved Smith in this movie. I mean, I love the interaction between him and Neo in Reloaded, but now he's just a royal wackjob. The scene with him and the Oracle was quite entertaining, as well.

I was happy for more Seraph screentime, though. And a halfway decent explaination of what happened to the Oracle (because I only read part of somethig on gamfaqs about Enter The Matrix, cause I didn't play it). I like the explaination of 'love' and 'karma' being just words. And Sati was pretty cute.

All in all, it was a very emotional movie, which could have just been tacked to Reloaded and put out as one movie. Revolutions would have felt less...detatched to me and it probably would have been alot more fulfilling. But that's just my personal opinion. Might go see it again, if I have a good enough reason to, or I'm not paying.

But then, I'm easing my mind by pretending that the end of The Matrix is the end of Revolutions.

Yes, I'm delusional. Don't shatter my fragile dream world!

I loved it when Smith went skitzo; but I think they could havecome up with a better way for him to be destoryed, light coming out from underneath his glasses? XD

I'm just still major pissed that Trin died, AND WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO NEO?! lol
Did the machines take him away for anal probing or what?

Hrm... *goes away to ponder*
