First off, I changed my e-mail address in my userinfo and on DeviantART to obliviousally@ aol.com. You can still contact me via the amr14@ hotmail.com one, but my AOL one is easier to check. :P
Anyhow, yesterday was spent cooking and cleaning. I made SOUP. And it was good. Made Zuppa Toscana (the potato and sausage soup the serve at Olive Garden), although it was lacking the whipping cream. Ah well, was still tastynum. Also cleaned some of the room. Hung up clothes and whatnot. My and TJ took Taylor outside, and he was so happy. Just sat in the sun for about an hour. Ummm...and played lots of Midnight Club 2 after unlocking all the cars. :9
Ohmygod. The day before yesterday we went and got food and stuff to make the soup and all. And we were at the Giant Eagle on Parkman Rd. (I know this means nothing to most of you, but carry on anyhow), and we went over to D&K to look around. I haven't been there in -years-. Literally. So we're browsing around and I come across the most fabulous treasure. Click here, here, and here. My god, why haven't I been doing to D&K more often?! The folders were 50 cents and the two little notebooks came in a pack together for $1. The had another deign for the notebooks, but I didn't have the money to get both. So then we end up at the Giant Eagle on Elm Rd. (actually, I think we were going to the Goodwill, but it was closed), and I con TJ to going to the D&K there. I score this (ignore the Werewolf: The Apocalypse book behind it, the corners were curving up and I needed something solid on top of it. And yes, all of the folders are see-though) and this monstrosity. I simply -had- to buy the sketchbook because of the knockoff Ham-Ham with two gaint fangs and the KISS makeup. XD And it's actually decent quailty paper! :D I was drawing on it last night (I'll post pics when I clean 'em up) and it eats lean and ink, cause it's really textured (not quite as much as watercolor paper, though), but it's still good drawing paper. And for 99 cents, I'll probably pick up more. Cause it's -big-, too. Woot. Oh, and this. Why, in god's name, is there a jellyfish floating around?! >_> And I am pleased. I think I might send some of the stuff to Cari. :3 Cause I've been meaning to write and send gifties anyhow, and I found an envelope big enough to fit the folders! Yaaay! So keep a watch out for stuffs from me, Cari! :D
Today, I need food. And TJ wants me to go out and get some applications. Cause we got an invitation for Peril's wedding in July and we -so- don't have the money for it. Cause it's a 12-13 hour drive to Minnesota. o_o;; Hopefully we'll be able to go, though. o_o So, hopefully I can have somethign by then, because the summer program obviously isn't working out. >_< Which pisses me off.
