I swear, I always seem to write super-long entries while I'm on campus waiting for TJ.
Drawing was nice today. We did a lot of gesture drawings with still life and some similar sorts of things, like drawing boxes to judge height/width of vases and bottles and beakers and stuff. Trying to get as close to 'real' dimensions as we could.
TJ got a lot of thumbs up from the professer and I didn't do too bad myself. I know it's not some sort of competition as to who does better or anything, but asspats are always welcome.
I'm getting a bit more comfortable in the class, as well. Which is good.
I'm almost done with my essay. It's written up, but I'm going to go over it and tweak things. I also need to type up my works cited page.
I returned TJ's Oceanography book and my Math pre-orders today (yay for another $160 back into the bank!) because I found his cheaper and Math has....EBOOKS. Which I just print out what we need anyhow. I'm so not buying books next semester until we get a syllabus. Ugh. Pain in the ass.
I need to figure a way to start working my own personal art inbetween doing school work. It's not as if I'm overloaded or anything, I just have been too busy thinking about schoolwork to draw anything. Personal OR commissions. But I'm sure I'll figure something out.
