Black Velveteen's cat smells like strawberry kittens...

Today was payday and I'm already below $100 in the bank. Ugh. I loathe money but I needs it so.

I put money on my credit card, a little in savings, bought household things we needed, bought some cheap art stuff and bought something for TJ. I still have to acquire food, however. :/ but the critters have food and this is good.

The girl rats are FINALLY getting out of our hair. Pet Supplies Plus is taking them, and not for feeders! Yay! We're going to keep the one little boy, because he can't go with the girls. He's just going to go in with Possum and Runt, since they're all so young.

I need to find whatever we have left of the Baytril. Waffle isn't looking so good. He's super thin and I know exactly what that means. He's either sick, or it's just his time. It's hard to tell which, however.

Everyone else is doing well, though. That's good.

Tezzy has fleas. Which isn't good. I'm going to treat the carpets downstairs tomorrow, probably. Hopefully. It's supposed to be 92F tomorrow and I might possibly DIE.

I tossed the stuff I matted tonight up on FurBuy. Hopefully I can sell some of it. :/

I'm filling out some applications I've picked up for places that are hiring around the mall. If I can find something in the morning, I can work on the days I work at Target and make double the money for the same amount of gas, I guess. Target isn't going to be able to keep my head above the water finanically, unfortunately. Especially not with the gas to get there and back every night.

I'm in the process of backing things up from TJ's computer so we can reformat it. 16gigs of music, all going on CD. D: Well, DVDs, actually. So that's not too bad. But once those are backed up, I can reformat and she shouldn't have issues anymore.

Upside, my mom's bringing over the stove tomorrow! Yay! I can cook like a real person now!

Downside? The water heater's shot! D: Al has to get it replaced. So we're WITHOUT HOT WATER until further notice. Lame.

We gotta hide what we are doin', 'cause what would they say...

So. I work in the morning. I wasn't scheduled, but Randy asked me to come in because he wants me trained for other areas of the store. Planogram, Backroom, some more in Softlines. To this I said 'YES'. Because he wants to give me more hours. And when I mentioned I was looked for a second job, he said he'd rather just keep me with one job. So, I'm happy.

This morning I was feeling a bit displaced. I got out of work at 7:30AM (very small truck) and TJ was still sleeping when I called. So I wandered the mall in those few strange hours when barely anyone is around. I sat in the mall for a bit and colored things. Walked over to Super K and wandered around. Walked back to the mall area and browsed Michael's. I found a big pack of comic layout paper for only $3 on clearance. It has the thumbnail papers, the comic papers and the cover papers. I don't know if I'll actually use them, but, hey, maybe I'll give it a shot.

I hung around Borders when it opened up. Poking through comics and magazines before getting an iced coffee, dousing it in milk and sugar, and doodling in the cafe. It was nice and the coffee helped perk me up a bit. Maybe too much.

After TJ picked me up, we dropped the ratlings off at Pet Supplies Plus. Thank goodness. That's fifteen rat monsters GONE. And so much food saved.

Now, home. And pray the 92F estimated temperature is a dry heat today.
