Stuff and UPPPPPPDAAAAAAAAAATE!

YES. TJ got her fur samples from Distinctive Fabric today.

The fuschia and the lavender long pile fur is DEAD ON PERFECT for my Gwen halfsuit. Which ROCKS. Next, it'll be a matter of getting monies together.

I wanted to use the lavender sparkle fur for her stripes, to add some pizzaz, but it's TOO long. 4" pile, to be exact. Might be good for hair. Wish they had blue, but I could probably use the white if I wanted to.

But I'm happy, finding the right fur color was going to be the biggest obstacle, I thought.

ANYHOW. Since I'm updating with trivial fursuiting stuff, I might as well do an actual update. I've just been lazy, is all.

Money's tight this week. Argh. They cut out hours at work. Down to 22 from 30. Ugh. And we're not technically in a contract at the moment because they're still negoiating it. Yet they can spend millions on new uniforms. Which are ugly and not functional AT ALL for stock work. For cashiers, yes. For stockers, no. FUNCTION BEFORE FASHION, FUCKERS.

We hit up the Evil Genuises thingie at the campus on Saturday. Not many people there, so we conned advengia into running a game. WE SUCCEDED. <3<3 It's quite fun so far, and very fast paced, which I love. I hate needing to think of things to do all the time, but I don't want the ST/GM to guide my by the hand the whole way. Make shit happen and let the players run with it, is what I say.


Slowly getting this thing together. Hopefully I'll get the motivation to finish coloring it. Auuugh. But I like how it's coming along.

I mentioned this in my DA journal, but I'll mention it here too. Once I finish up the commissions that are lingering about still, I'm going to be closing them again. For awhile. If I do decide to take any it will be on a VERY limited basis. Only a few at a time. But, past that, I'm going to start doing art trades and stuff again. I miss doing gift art for people and stuff.

Also, happy early Valentine's Day to everyone. TJ's looking forward to Steak and a Blowjob Day...

I was reading back through my LJ for shits and giggles and...JEEZUS. Like, um, this. Wow. o_o

I said that I'm not bi in that post and, well, I'm still not. Fuck gender and fuck traditional concepts of love. Yes, I'm in a relationship with a girl, but that only makes me bi by society's standards. Not my own.

I never really wanted a relationship, like explained in the post. But then, I was adhering to typical relationship concepts. Me and TJ don't have a typical relationship. We're open to other people (we say this, but I think we're still getting used to each other), we don't smother each other, we don't expect things from each other, etc.

Also, even if I wasn't in a relationship now, I'd be leaning towards girls (or noone at all) on the account that I have that overwhelming fear of pregnancy and I don't want babies anyhow.
