Stuff and STUFF!
Feb. 19th, 2005 05:13 amSo. I had my interview at West today. Hired in. I'm already hating it and I don't start until Tuesday. Business professional/casual. Three weeks of training. And it's not even the job itself that I'm going to hate. It's the hours. My training? 3:30PM-11:30PM, Monday through Friday. My regular schedual? 2PM-11PM, off Tuesday and Wednesday. No weekends. Now, you see, this is 8-9 hours of work, 5 days a week. Good, right? Fill-time job and all? $7.75 and hour and all. Yeah. Only I have to work and not get paid for three weeks. This is why I work out of Labor Ready so often. And I prefer it. Why? Because I get my money either the SAME day or the NEXT day. Not three weeks down the road when I'm starving and need to pay my bills that are already two weeks late. And then I had to retake my attitude evaluation test thingy. Positive answers, and all. And, from what I can tell from the test, they want people who will strive for the best, achieve everything they can, and take down, walk all over, and destroy everyone in their path to the top.
I hate corporations.

ladylysander's comission inked and scanned up. If anyone's interested in peeking at it, click here. I'm in the process of coloring it now, so hopefully it'll be done soon.
Got another generic logo for Colossal Con done. It's cute enough and I'm making two versions of it, in case they want to use it on the webpage.
I am stinky and in need of a bath. But I don't really care.
We went out to Walmart tonight and picked up some crafty bits for TJ, since her federal income tax refund had been deposited into my account. Tomorrow we buy food for the animals and...uh...I don't know.
The art school portfolio review is next weekend at UA, I'd still like to go, but I don't have anything ready. And I doubt I could get a small portfolio ready this week. :/
Uhh...other than that, nothing special has been going on. Just trying to catch up on things and finish comissions. I may or may not take more after I finish these, but I don't know. I need to work on my turn around time. :P
