Stuff and OMFG, STILL NO COMPUTER.
Jan. 29th, 2005 06:26 pmYeah. This is seriously beginning to grate on my nerves. The computer that TJ's MU* friend sent us is all nice and dandy. Boots up nice and all. We installed our harddrives into it and attempted to install Windows XP only to have is BSOD on us. FOR THE LAST FIVE FREAKING DAYS. It's not even funny anymore. The 40G is brand new and has been reformatted numerous times. Our 10G has been backed up, wiped, reformatted and that one won't work either. And the whole process is becoming increasingly aggravating. And we don't even have a Windows 98 disk to use since XP won't install. >_<
In less aggravating news, I finally got the tire fixed on the car. For pretty cheap, too, considering I just needed the front two taken off the rims, put onto new rims, mounted and aligned. $10 a piece. Not bad. Rest of my money went towards gas.
I think I'm working next week. at least it'll be money. Need to start saving for an apartment in Akron.
The art that I'm going to have to scan when the computer's working again is piling up more and more. Augh.
My mom gave me a box of old letters and pictures from WWII she found down at the Mission. They're from a husband to his wife, who lived in Niles. There's a bunch of really well preserved black and white photographs and alot of well preserved letters. Might keep 'em, might get 'em appraised, I don't know.
I'm feeling very defeated right now. Blah.
