Work again today. Mostly helping to clean inside the school since it was raining outside most of the day. Boring, for the most part. They do everything bass ackwards compared to how we did things at Garfield the summer me and TJ work. Cause, y'know, logic would dictate that you would clear out each classroom one by one and finish the whole thing before moving onto the next, right? Then do the messy hallways last? Noooo, we wipe the wall and everything down in every room before going and doing the hallways so we can drag everything out of the classrooms to mess the hallways up so we can clean the rooms. Does this seem efficient to you? I know it doesn't to me!
And I think one of the girls I work with has a kid. She's just going into her sophomore (10th grade) year of high school. Cute, really.
Taylor went missing last night, but when I came home, I found him sitting behind his tank trying to get to his light. I figured he'd make his way around when he got cold or hungry.
I had to walk home in the rain because it decided to start downpouring as soon as the bus got downtown. So I hung out at the comic store and bothered Josh until the rain let up for a bit. Didn't help much, as I wound up soaked by the time I got home. Ah well.
In other miscellanious news, I saw some really kick ass Batman Kotobukiya figures in the latest Previews mag. A Batman/Catwoman one (aww, it's Catwoman with the goggles. Blah... It's also $150, for those who want to know.), one of Batman alone, one of the Joker, and a really cool one of Poison Ivy. And one of The Penguin. AND! I want the Alien vs. Predator plushies AND the Facehugger plush. Of which there is two. A regular plushie one and a big, bendable plushie one. And I made sure that they'd hold a copy of the Evil Dead comics coming out for me, in case they sell out. <3 OHOHOH! And the Nausicaa DVD comes out in September!!!!!! *SQUEEEEE!!!!*
And if the Batman utility belt wasn't so damn expensive (read: $350 I don't have...), I'd actually wear it. :3
Also, some sketches I drew in the last two days. A whole total of.....THREE! Yaaay! ( Sketches! )
And my sunburn has finally gone from bright red to a kind of neon shade of pink. I'm radioactive! Bzzt!
