So, I've been without internet since...oh...Wednesday evening or so. The evening after my last update. Why? No, not cause of the power outage (although, I did get to experience that firsthand), but because AOL's a flaming, ass-hoarding fuck. But it's fixed now. Yaaaay!

Anyhow, I now begin my recap of events since Wednesday.

Thursday: Left around 12PM or so to take nachitor to the airport. Hunted for a chinese buffet, found one, ate, got him to the airport. His flight was overbooked, so he voulnteered to wait for a later flight at the bribe of a $300 voucher. We headed out, cause I needed to be at work around 4PM (even though I was going to be late anyhow). We go to leave, and it turns out we're, like, 5 or so minutes over our parking ticket (up to 30 minutes is free, ater that it's, like, $3). We had NO money. Cause, we'll, we're poor. So, the fat fuck in the koisk has no mercy and was like 'you shouldn't be coming to the airport without money' and hand us our ticket. Me and TJ flip the fuck out. I try to con her into letting me take the plates off the car and just running through the damn bar. But she wouldn't let me. So we call up nachitor and hope he hasn't left yet. He hasn't, thank god, but he informs us that the power just went out. Doesn't phase me, I figure it's just something in the area. So I go hunt him down, even though my phone doesn't seem to be working or keeping a connection for more that a minute or two. This doesn't tip me off to anything weird, either. Since the phone has a tendency to do that when we're out of our area. So, I get inside and find teh nachitor, who gives me and $10 and I thank him profusely. Then, I flee, figuring everything'll be worked out okay at the airport and it's nothing major. Then, we hit rush hour. And we notice that none of the stoplights are working. Again, nothing unusual to us, as our stoplights at home stop working occassionally. And we attribute is to a few blocks around the airport having lost power. Off to the highway. Gridlocked traffic. It was crazy getting home, but luckly we were on the highway, and didn't have to worry about stoplights. We finally get word of what's really going on. Try to call up nachitor a coupld more times, no luck. Call my grandma, see if power's off at home, nope. We make it home, I'm two hours late to work. Augh. But it wasn't a big deal. Called up TJ on my break, said nachitor was taking a cab back to our place cause the airport canceled flights. o_o Eep. But, by the time I got out of work, everything was okay. Yaay!

Friday: Payday. Had to hhunt EVERYWHERE to find someone to cash my check, cause it's a Citibank check and we don't have a Citibank. And I dont' have a bank account anymore. But I did get it cashed. Thankfully. Work at 4PM, 3 sales. Woo! Had to wind up staying an extra half hour cause there was still data. :P Also, people in NY, like, flipped out about the power outage. It wasn't that big of a deal. Jeeze. :P

Today: Washed clothes, got a bath. Yaay! Squeaky clean. TJ went to work at 4PM, so me and nachitor are loafing and eating junk food. Woot.

Miscellaneous news: TJ picked up Fake and Pet Shop of Horrors manga. Both are good. She also got the Fake anime along with Chobits and the Best of Will Ferell (Harry Caray!!! XD). Chobits is teh r0xx0rz. ^_^ I think I've got some are to psot, so I'll get around to that after I check my 3 days worth of internet stuff I'm behind on. :P

Also, it took, like, 7 calls to AOL tech support to finally get someone (a woman) to understand what was wrong. Augh.

And, uh, one of the gerbils died, like, this morning. One of the ones TJ bought from the pet store that she thought was pregnant, but wasn't. Apparently. She must have had a tumor or something. Cause I found her this morning...yeah. It wasn't pretty. The other younger gerbil that was in the cage with her was flipping out and jumping around. So I put her in a new cage with things to play with. Oh, TJ's pufferfish died too. He killed one of the fantails yesterday, so I guess he deserved it. Plus, he'd been eating the dojo loach's fins and harassing him and stuff. Damn animals. :P

So...uh...yeah. I've got a new LJ layout to put up, so I'll do that sometime today. nachitor's going back home tomorrow. Waii. But we're gonna go to the zoo and stuff, and we don't have to worry about rushing home cause me and TJ both have tomorrow off. spiralpegasus, do you and doomflower want to join us?

YEE! ! I'm glad you did enjoy yourself while you were here, sonofberkowitz! We'll have to plan something again sometime in the future. I don't think taking a weekend trip to Chicago would be too hard to work out. :D
