Base from 2 Pixel. I'm pretty happy with how they came out. ^_^ The hair still bugs me, though. I couldn't get it to look right for the life of me. It's too light and I didn't have the patience to go back and redraw/recolor it. Cause I'd likely do the same thing again. ^_^;;; But I do like the icon. ^_^ Bwee.

Not a whole lot going on today. Loafing. It's cold in the bedroom. I feel like going back to sleep. Or playing some more Golden Sun 2, since mRO is down (I think, it was yesterday) cause the girl that hosts it and stuff is moving and all that. :P Ah well.

I need food....and...um...I dunno. o_o

"She says a lot of people are having fun finding new titles for Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" which presents problems with every word except "and" and "the." Ravitch said old is ageist, man is sexist and sea can't be used in case a student lives inland and doesn't grasp the concept of a large body of water."

What do you see wrong with that? Or is it just me that thinks the whole world has gone fucking insane?

"The New York Times recently reported that National Institute of Health researchers on AIDS are not only avoiding using words like gay and homosexuals in e-mails so as not to offend conservatives in the Bush administration, they are also inventing code words.

Times journalist Erica Goode reported that one researcher was told to "cleanse" the abstract of his grant proposal of words like gay, homosexual and transgender even though his research was on HIV in gay men."

...cleanse? What the fuck? And conservatives AND the Bush 'administration' can bite my ass. Fuckers. I don't like them in the first place.

It just really boggles my mind that people are like that. They feel they have to hide things from their children and shit. Kids that grow up sheltered and confused are the ones that become the psychos and rebel and shit. I turned out perfectly fine reading textbooks that had 'biddy' and 'boyish' in them. Feh. Fuckers.

That is my fabulous accomplishment of drawing for today. Bwee! The original is here. It's done for Dako's contest on Toxic Toast's oekaki board. Except, the one on the 'kaki doesn't look as nice. ;_; Cause it takes too damn long for the animation to load. Cause I didn't realize I was working with the animation until I'd already started. Feh. And the shading doesn't come out ont he hair when I do retouch. Feh. So, maybe withing the week I'll finish it, if I have more patience. >_>; But I took it into PSP and played around with filters and stuff and made it look badass. And Aurora is my Matrix name. TJ informed me of that after she found a Matrix name generator. I have no clue what the link is, so don't ask. o_o; But I reeeeeaaally like how it came out. ^_^ Even if it is an oekaki and I can't ink for crap on the computer. :P

TJ just called. I completely forgot I had to do things today, aside from pairing up the two gerbils again. And she said we might go out to the ledges later. *explodes with joy*
