Sooo....yeah.

Jesse died last night. Cause the guy at the pet store said he was just dehydrated, which was most likely true, but he's so small that his health deteriorated so quickly. And we drove around, tried calling 24 hour emergency vet places. We wound up in Champion, and called another place, and they told us that no one around here could treat gerbils. And the closest place was in Akron. >_< But, he did die while we were in Champion. But at least he was comfortable and warm. I mean, at least we were there and -tried- to do something. Called my mom and told her, cause she'd been helping me call places and stuff. She said she was sorry and all that, and Bud even called. Which shocked the fuck out of me. o_O But, I don't know if I'm even going to take him and try to get my money back from Petsmart. I mean, I won't know what to do with the $8. And I'd rather just bury him and leave it at that. But, I won't be buying anything from Petsmart anymore. >_<

But I'm okay. I mean, it happens. It's just been the first time I've lost a pet that I was trying to nurse back to health. And it make me feel like I could have done more for him. But it happens, and small animals get really sick really fast. And he was sick to begin with...

But, he lived up to his name...

Anyhow. Got DDR. Much better than psycho Konamix. x_x And...yeah. That's about all that happened last night.

*gives many snugs* It's heartbreaking to lose a little one like that... I remember trying to nurse a kitten using formula and an eyedropper when its mother refused it... we lost him. (Happened years ago; I was a kid.) It's a really helpless feeling, too... but when it's time to go, they go. :/ But you tried your best and I'm sure the lil' fuzzball could sense that. :)

I'm sorry you had such a hard time of things. *snugs*

Sorry to hear, Azzy. :( But at least you guys gave him a good home before he went. Poor guy. I don't like Petsmart myself for various reasons...they don't take care of their animals right. Not to mention people found the employees in one of their stores killing hamsters for the fun of it...hitting them with sticks, throwing them against the walls. Meh. >.<

Really sorry he went.
