obliviousally_ljSo....I'm making a furry roleplay forum.
I KNOW, I KNOW. IT SOUNDS LIKE A TERRIBLE, FRUSTRATING, AWFUL IDEA.
I KNOW.
But I'm doing it anyhow because CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
Really, I want somewhere to play that isn't full of smut and badly developed characters and all that bullshit. AND I'M SURE THERE ARE OTHERS WHO WANT THAT, TOO. Because...seriously. There's not a lot of quality on any anthro/furry roleplaying places I've seen. It's really depressing.
This is what I've got done so far. No, I have no intention on the design being overly ~~~furry~~~, because it doesn't need to be. I have a good portion of the topics done, but I'm making a 'how to create your character' topic and I need to write up how species flaws will work and how they should be worked into ones character.
Worst case scenario, it's a board that only me and my friends play on. Whatever. But a few folks on RPG-D are interested in the concept, which is nice to see because folks outside the fandom will probably bring very different ideas and concepts to the table.
But, to those of you on my friends list who roleplay (in any form, through any venue), do you have any suggestions in regards to this. Would those with anthro characters be interested in roleplaying there? Would those who aren't ~~in the fandom~~ be interested in playing their anthro characters there? Am I doing a good job of not making the place feel/seem obnoxious with ~~furriness~~?

Opinions, suggestions, even complaints! I'd like to hear them. I just really want to create a place where people will LIKE to play their furry characters and not have the stigma of the fandom attached to it as heavily.
