obliviousally_ljI spent $20 at Gabriel Bros. the other day and pretty much bought some of the cutest things ever.
Adorable chunky cardigan for $5. Not this one specifically, but pretty similar. That frilly jacket in black for $5 and I freaking love it. It reminds me of something Poe would wear. That last shirt is the only image I could find of it, but it's a loose fitting t-shirt with skeletons which was, like, $3. Apparently it was limited edition from Exposure for TopShop and retailed, like, $45 originally. I also bought a cute thermal top with keys and hearts on it and some bra/panties.
Not really any better of a pic but ♡ ♡ ♡ that jacket.

Tony got his hair cut yesterday. Cockatoo!
I don't think I ever took photos of Snickers (who we adopted over the summer), so that's who the tortie cat is. We took her in from a family who had a baby and two small dogs and they wanted her to live somewhere with other cats that was less hectic. She's settled in pretty well, but she's very much CAT. Kind of aloof, only see her once or twice a day when she shows up for love, that kind of thing. She's super sweet, though and chatty.
The nude monstrosity we got a few months ago, but I didn't post about him because we were having financial issues with rent and all and I didn't want people assuming we'd, like, bought a sphynx during that. We adopted him from a couple in Pittsburgh, who drove to our house to meet us and the cats before we took him in. They have other animals, but sphynxes need a lot of attention and they just didn't have the extra time to give him. Tony's been wanting a nude cat since forever and we knew if we wanted to get one otherwise we'd have to pay almost $500 and deal with batshit crazy cat ladies. So the nude monster is Jem and he's also settled in well. Sam doesn't like him very much, he's always swatting at Jem when he gets up in Sam's business. Dean loves him, though, because Jem tearasses around the house with him. Snickers is indifferent overall.
Melanie and the other critters are doing well, as well. Remus died last month (I believe), but he was almost three years old and we were expecting him to go anyhow.
I keep leaving this up and forgetting I have half an entry written! God!
I solved my webhost issue! With Furtopia going down,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
inaki offered me some space over on dreamchaos.net. I whipped up a new layout for it and I don't know if it's going to be updated a whole lot, but I figured out simpleviewer for my galleries and I'll likely use the site as a catchall for my internetings.
I should also really get around to learning CSS. D:
Other than that, classes have started and I'm still really bummed that I'm not able to take anything on-campus. Hopefully my financial aid will be better this coming year and I'll be able to do that in the Summer/Fall. I need to buy books for my two online classes, but that'll have to wait until Tony's financial aid comes. All of mine went straight to the landlord pretty much. Plus, the one instructor didn't announce the book needed until almost the last minute. It's also a $100 HTML, XHTML & CSS book and I'm just like :| about it.
Oh! I ~finally~ read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! In, like, two hours, which is remarkably fast for me. But it was a nice, easy read and I like Rowling's writing style. Now I'm trying to hash out a Hogwarts Poe. :D Exciting!
