Bunch of random things today.

Firstly, Furtopia is going to be closing down its webhosting service in Febuary. This isn't the END OF DAYS for me, of course, as I haven't maintained a website there in some time (meaning, I have an 'indefinite hiatus' page up, but I still host most of my artwork and such there). However, I'd like to find a stable webhost to take its palce. I kind of would like my own domain, but I'd also have to maintain a website and as much as I like DESIGNING websites, I don't have the patience to keep one updated. Especially when it involved logging in to another site to do so. I'm pretty happy with using Tumblr for my artblog and keeping up my galleries.

But still, it wouldn't hurt to have somewhere to set up base again. Anyone have any suggestions? Either for free hosting or domains. I'm also a little tired of having ~fallenangel.furtopia.org~ because I don't use that name anymore and, well, FURtopia.

Secondly, work is going really well. It's weird, when I started there last semester, I was kind of reserved because it was a new place, new people and I hadn't worked in over a year at a retail place. Least of all dealing with customers (I did logistics at Target for almost two years, which meant a lot of working over closed hours). But since I've been back this time, it's been all casual and awesome. Buybacks/rental returns are so easy. I don't have to handle ANY money. I got to work in the back yesterday, sorting books, and it was awesome. I just hung out and talked nerd shit with the guys back there and time flew by. I was (sort of) left to my own devices with what I was doing (I was sorting wholesale stuff, the other guy - Owen - was sorting rentals) and I could work at my own pace and how I wanted to. Initially, there were three of us, but the manager sent the other kid (Cody) off to the MACC to do remote buybacks.

Later on, Ken (one of the managers) tossed one of the new girls at me to help me with sorting and I felt kind of special because he didn't undermine how I was doing thing or anything. Just 'here's some help, let her know how to do things here, bye!'.

At lunch, I didn't feel all out of place like I did last semester and I had no trouble chatting with whoever was in the breakroom at the time. But I like being able to be sociable with my co-workers because it makes the job more enjoyable. It's why working at Suncoast was so easy, or working at the Target in Silverdale was so easy. There were great people at both places and it was less like 'UGH JOB' and more like hanging out with people you like AND working for delicious monies at the same time.

The two guys, Cody and Owen, were talking about D&D and possibly starting up a game of some sort. No one around here plays WoD, unfortunately, or a whole lot of any other tabletop RPGs, either. But they both seem more like they're interested in PLOT and SHENANIGANS than RULES and ROLLING, which takes all the fun out of the game.

Thirdly, I downloaded a bunch of new music. Which is really only relevant to me.

Fourthly, I need to finish this soup, bus out to Target and exchange these Christmas lights, buy some cocktail sauce and get the cats some food.

Fifthly, we had a flat tire the other night but since we got air in it, it doesn't seem to have any more problems. Is there any reason a tire could lose air without having a puncture in it?

Tire: you could have a "slow leak", meaning the tire will go flat over some period of time (days to weeks) but filling it with air will fix it for a while. (I had one for a while!)
