Financial woes. Still.

As it stands, I'll have barely enough to cover half rent come November. Of course, there's the rest of November AND December too. What a pain in the ass. We're waiting on a lot of things to fall into place regarding money, which really sucks. If this one thing happens soon, it'd be amazing. But I'm not holding my breath.

I have to put something on the water bill on Monday. Got a shut off notice for it yesterday. Awesome. The city water department is really on the ball with late bills, so while I can put off the others for a little longer, they're kind of on top of you in a heartbeat for their money.

Internet is fully cut off. We're using our phones as hotspots, but the 'unlimited' usage tops out at 5GB and, obviously, that's way more than we use in a month. So there's no telling when internet will be back on again, but at least we have that and I can get online when I'm on campus.

We've been putting in applications like crazy. There's a few places I need to call still, specifically Walmart because Angie says they're doing mass hiring right now.

To those who have sent cash my way or snagged a commission, I really can't thank you enough. I'm not a huge fan of asking for money from friends, but I really do appreciate it when people help out.

The main thing we're worried about is getting rent money together. I'm able to put something on the water bill and all and internet is technically a luxury, which means it can wait. Plus, there's wifi on campus and plenty of unsecured connections to hijack in our neighborhood.
