obliviousally_ljIii am not dead, I've just been ~busy~.
I had to quit the Schwebel Room job. Some things came up and something cosmically felt like it was going 'this isn't going to work out'. So rather than force it, I let it go. Still at the bookstore,not sure for how much longer. I have two days scheduled this week. I'll have to ask on Tuesday if this is my last week. STILL waiting on financial aid, it's becoming an annoyance at this point. I NEED TO PAY MY RENT DAMNIT.
Classes have been nice. The Art History II professor is hilarious. My Advanced Visual Design (which is really just a basic graphic design class) is pretty nice, as well. It should be equal parts easy and interesting because we're using both Photoshop and InDesign and I've never used InDesign before. Downside: we're on Macs. But since they're older Macs, they keep shutting down and doing dumb shit, so the professor said if any of us have ID or PS on our laptops, we're free to bring and use those.
THANK GOD because I hate the backwards minimize/maximize/close buttons on Macs and I hate that godawful one-button bubble mouse and slfhgklfd everything about it makes me :|
NOTHING GOOD COMES FROM YOU, MACS. I CANNOT BE CONVINCED OTHERWISE.
Stuff I've worn lately. I was super hot earlier this week and I just couldn't wear anything cute. I'm glad it's cooling down because a lot of my clothes need to be layers or are just too much to wear when it's 87F.
Yesterday, after class, Angie and I did laundry and I bought her some food in exchange for helping me out with that. Not having cash ~blows~ so hard. I can't wait until I either get a paycheck or my financial aid.
Then I go into work today and discover that payday was yesterday and there's a....$217 paycheck waiting for me. Awesome. All of it is going towards rent.
