I'll follow you until you love me...
May. 11th, 2010 02:35 pmThe cats are getting spayed today, which is a good thing. They've been starting the overly talky chatter that some females get when they're getting ready to go into heat. Thankfully, TJ found a place in Akron that does it for free, which is awesome.
I went and traded in the Wii at The Exchange yesterday. Twofold reason: we need monies AND we really like the look of the black/blue Wii that was just brought out, so we figured we'd trade ours in now and buy that one in the future when we have money again. I didn't get a whole lot for it, but the girl there felt bad, so she gave me an extra $10 on top of the asking price.
Sold some books at the bookstore and got a little more cash. And my Flashcard was finally loaded with the $25 from the library survey thing.
Angie and I took the bus up to Acme because I wanted to get some more lunchmeat for wraps and such. Saw a girl on the bust reading one of the Supernatural novels, so I inquired. After the initial conversation, I could tell she still wanted to talk, but she didn't say anything else. Angie and I couldn't figure if she was trying to tell if we were CRAZY fans, or what. But we were trying to figure the same about her.
On the way home, we spotted a jackpot of stuff being thrown out for trash in the morning. So we dropped food off at home before going back out to garbage pick. Two trips later and I scored two nice desks (hopefully the one will replace my rickety table!), a small table whose legs I need to fix, and a decent TV stand. Almost has a huge wicker chair for the porch, but it was buckling in the back.
Regardless, we are fucking pros at garbage picking. I busted out the wheelies and the bungees to get the desks home. My mother would be so proud.
I cannot wait for everyone to move out for the summer. Oh, the riches to be had.
Now, I think I am going to re-arrange my office and drag this big desk upstairs. It should be exciting!
