Housewarming gifts?
Feb. 1st, 2010 10:49 amSo, because we don't have a huge amount of friends here (meaning, most of our good friends aside from Angie and Rob live hours+ away), I'm unable to have an awesome housewarming party. Sad day.
However, I was thinking: perhaps I could post something in lieu of a party invite.
If people wanted to help out with our getting settled, I thought helpful parties could possibly send us gift cards for gas or groceries. I don't really want cash, because cash has the possibility of getting spent on frivilous things. Moving's an expensive venture and I still need to get back and forth to school four days a week, which is 30 minutes away.
GROCERY STORES (and similar places to buy foodstuffs)
Giant Eagle
Acme Fresh Market
Heinen's
Wal-Mart
Walgreens
CVS
Target
GAS STATIONS
Get Go
Sheetz
BP Gas
Speedway
Circle K
Sunoco
Our address is over here. If you can't view it, it's because you're not on my f-list, so make a comment and I'll hook you up with it.
If you do want to help and it IS simply easier to send money via Paypal (obliviousally@yahoo.com), make sure you leave a note in the message box when you do and I'll make a mental note to pick up a gift card from somewhere with that money.
