Whew.

Last couple days have been busy busy.

Thursday, after class, we went to the LGBT meeting on the main campus. We expected something relatively eye-rolling, but we ended up meeting some nice folks and having a good lulz.

During the meeting, since it was the first one, we split up into two groups - people who've dated chicks and people who've dated guys. Angie and I were together, since TJ is transitioning and technically counts as a dude and I've only dated dudes before TJ, on the guy dating side. TJ went over to the opposite side because, well, he's dating a girl.

Essentially, aside from a few folks, it was gays vs. lesbians.

So we were all asked to write down a question to ask the opposite side. Anything, really, from sex, to what they like in a person. Whatever we wanted to ask. Then we picked out the best questions and asked them.

They ran the gamut from:

Have you ever use dental dams for oral sex?
Does anal sex smell?
What's so great about boobs?

Relatively typical questions.

Then.

Girl asks: "Is sex with a guy as boring as it looks in the movies?" to the straight girls on our side (of which there were about eight at the front, then Angie and I in the back).

Everyone on our side was like '....wut.'. And we all proceeded to try and figure out what exactly she meant and how sex with a guy 'looked boring'. I pointed out that, yeah, it's boring if you're having starfish sex. Or if you're a boring person.

She then proceeded to try to explain that she knows there's foreplay and all that, but how do you know when to do it. Tab B into Slot A. She also lamented that 'you just lay there!'.

Angie and I were all FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF and determined she was probably a virgin.

ALSO. Lesbians are catty bitches. TJ was over on the primarily lesbian side and they all huddled into little groups and pretty much ignored the two straight guys over there and TJ. The only one who had anything smart to say was one sitting in the front row. The rest of them were all just chattery and dumb and were being exceptionally rude when our side would try to answer anything.

When our side asked what the ideal trait in a person you'd want to date was, they almost all went 'tits and ass!' and TJ commented with 'personality'. The girl in front of him replied with 'SERIOUSLY??' and proceeded to state that she was shallow and wants a pretty girl with T&A.

It was HILARIOUS.

The gay dudes in front of us (and one straight girl) were laughing their asses off at Angie and I as we tried to clarify things the opposite side wasn't. They told us, at the end, that they learned more from the two of us than from the girls across the room.

The lesbians were just rude and defensive about almost all the questions, whereas the gay guys just answered them with no issues, sometimes throwing a quip or two in.

Will we be going back? Likely. The entertainment value is through the fucking roof.

After the meeting, we heard that the Interbelt had no cover and this was the conversation that happened:

Ally: Even free cover can't get me to go to the Interbelt.
Angie: I know, right!
(after finding TJ)
TJ: So I was thinking about going to the Interbelt tonight since it's free!
Ally & Angie: HELL YEAH

Obviously, we are easily swayed. Regardless, the Interbelt STILL SUCKED ASS and we left and went to the Square, which is where Greg took us on Halloween. It was much nicer this time around and we played music on the jukebox and danced a lot. TJ started charging us a 'Lady Gaga Tax' and chatted with a nice gay couple while Angie and I were off being tards.

Afterwards, delicious Mr. Zubs deli and nomnomnom sammiches at 1AM.

We had delicious Twinsburg buffet on Friday and then headed back home. Our furnace is still not working. This is, of course, to be expected. It's chilly in the house, but it could be a lot worse. We have a space heater in the bedroom and lots of fleece for the animals to keep warm with.

Picked up stuff for my art class today. I have everything and it didn't cost me TOO much. I have an assignment I need to do before Tuesday, as well. I also think I have a few writing things I need to do. I have to pick up books for class on Monday, as well.

Have to call my landlord on Tueday and see if he's done with the house. He said hopefully we'll be in there by Wednesday. I hope so, too. I'm glad he's getting things fixed up, no complaints there. I'm just anxious to get moved and all. Commuting to Stark from Warren is a huge pain.

I felt so damn out of place and unwelcome on that side of the room at the meeting. Like, seriously. I haven't felt that uncomfortable in a group since HS. If lesbians don't want the stereotypes they get, well, maybe they shouldn't keep pushing them. :/

But other than that it was fun, and I wish I would've been on the 'dated males' side. It was so much more friendly.

If that situation ever arises again, I would go on the guys side. :D

Lesbians are fucking crazy. Every one I've met (who didn't date guys first) have fit the stereotype perfectly.

I think it was 'if the current or last person you dated was ____ go over ____' sort of thing.
