I'm being a lazy fuck about packing. I'm just kind of dragging for some reason and I know I have class this week and I still have to pack and move and get utilities set up. So it's kind of sdlhgfsldkgh.
I think I'm going to wait until my birthday or something to get my Intuos. That $200 is better spent on house expenses right now than a tablet, as much as I would like to have the latter. BUT. I still have my Graphire, so it's not as if I don't have a tablet at all or anything.
I went to dye my hair last night only to discover my box of hair dye DID NOT HAVE THE COLOR tube in it after I'd mixed up the initial ingredients. I was pissed, but there wasn't a whole lot I could do. Gonna try to find a similar color in one of the cheap kits today, I suppose. My hair needs something done to it as it's starting to get all dull and ugh again.
SO. We scored the Supernatural RPG while out and about this week. This is awesome because it's not as if it's a hard game to get into because WE'RE ALREADY PLAYING IT. Just, y'know, without character sheets and shit.
I spent most of the evening hunting around (and waiting for forum approval) for character sheets. I didn't want to have to scan the ones from the book and make a PDF file myself. While searching, I found this:

At first, I was like 'Oh! That's really cute! I like the style!' because I'm a huge fag for shit like that (read: half the shit I make in Photoshop). However, upon closer inspection I discovered...
COMIC SANS.
As someone who occassionally fancies herself a bit of a graphic designer in the sense that I know how to combine things to look nice together in a relatively reasonable manner, COMIC SANS MAKES ME RAGE. This is for a fucking Supernatural RPG. Comic Sans is SO innappropriate for the theme it's not even funny. It makes the sheet look like a joke.
On top of that, when I downloaded the PDF, I realized everything is blurry, like it was resized improperly. It just looks...shoddy.
WHICH MEANS
I'll probably be making my own in a similar manner. It probably seems stupid to do so, but I don't care. Especially since I'll probably be using this for a couple headpeople.
Just...sdl;khgfsklfghklfdhgklfd COMIC SANS.

Date: 2010-01-18 04:01 am (UTC)I could even cope with Comic Sans if people wouldn't use it in the wrong manner. It's so not difficult to pick suitable typefaces for things. D:
