The New Year is already starting to try me.
So I was checking my financial aid stuff and I realized...tuition at the main campus is twice as much as it is at the regional branches. What does this mean? This means, instead of getting $1900 back, I'd be getting, like, $85.
This, of course, does not fly. Between the two of us we'd be out almost half our financial aid money.
So, what do we do?
We find the closest regional campus and register for classes there. Yeah, I wanted to go to the main campus, but that'll half to wait until we hash out our aid for next school year. That's fine. It's a 30 minute drive to the nearest campus and we'll have our own place and we'll be out of this shithole. It's kind of stupid, but it's a healthier enviornment all around. Easier to get a job, no more bullshit like here, no more Al.
I'm just not letting stupid shit get the better of me anymore. It's just not going to happen.
Courage Wolf is my fucking role model this year.
Yeah, College Writing I again. Hopefully I won't flake out on the last half of the semester. I really can't afford to. The Understanding of Music class is mostly just there because the two classes I wanted to take in that time slot are full up. If one comes open, I'll probably swap.
I can also use the extra time on Tuesday and Thursday for studying, since TJ will be in class then. If I can avoid taking a lot of work HOME, that'll help me out a lot.
Last night we watched My Bloody Valentine and the Friday the 13th remake.
One was tolerable. The other was so bad we fast forwarded to the parts we wanted to see and it was still not worth it.
I mean, at least My Bloody Valentine has immense gore and Jensen Ackles with some bizarre personality disorder and being awesome crazy at the end. But Friday the 13th had Jared Padalecki as the only likable character on screen and little to no actual horror/gore.

Also, I fucking hate how schools do that tuition thing.
