More adventures.
Feb. 11th, 2011 08:09 pmI have a Melanie sleeping under my chair.
Yesterday was mildly exciting. We went up to Coleman so Tony could sign some papers for his doctor. Afterwards, we went downtown because he wanted to go to the bookstore. We scored a few cheap World of Darkness books and an animal anatomy book. Then we went to Off The Wagon because it's fun to see what they have. They carry a lot of novelty stuff and things the Fred Flare site and stuff carries.
The cashier was enamored with Tony's name and told him he was going to tell everyone that he'd met Iron Man today.
Our other reason for stopping downtown was to see the new international market. It's quite itty bitty but I was really surprised to see stuff there that I have to drive to Cleveland to find. My lemon chicken ramen bowls, Kinder Bueno (and other Kinder noms - including Kinder Eggs!). Tony found pork floss and tasty fizzy juice. They also carry fresh pita pockets that don't tear/crumble when you try to open them! A miracle, to be sure. It's not a huge selection, but it covers what we normally have to trek out to Cuyahoga Falls to get. Plus, it's within walking distance.
Then home and I took a nap. I feel almost like there's the fringes of a cold trying to show up, which I don't like one bit.
