Me and TJ have reached the lower rung of the Geek Hierarchy (except, y'know, we're not writing erotic fanfiction. just...talking about it.). It's not like we haven't been there before, of course. But those were okay because we were young and didn't know better.

Tezzy slipped out of her cage this morning. There's a broken bar I'd forgotten to patch up and we heard something romping around the bedroom.

Mind you, she came UPSTAIRS from the main room downstairs and she THANKFULLY didn't go OUTSIDE INTO THE GARAGE and LEAVE.

Then she demanded to go into the pink room to romp and play.

It's like having a small child.

Also, apparently, I was supposed to work yesterday. Monday. I could've SWORN I was off on Monday because I remember going 'oh, I didn't request that off, but it'll give me a day to recouperate after the convention!'. But, apparently, I was a no call, no show yesterday. I explained what happened to HR and she didn't sound mad about it at all. Downside? That counts as my third 'call off' in a three month period. Which is lame. But whatever. I should maybe look for a second job anyhow, in case we have to move out anyhow.

Yeah, I STILL don't know what's up with the house yet. And it's aggravating me.
