My entry for the school uniform contest over at Pinkies. I'm eeeh with it. I spent forever on the markings and the coloring and the HAIR, as well as everything else. But I really don't like the winter uniform. And I REALLY don't like the shoes. I hate doing shoes for anything. That's why I'm always drawing baggy pants. :P I was going to give her a jacket or something but it got to the point where I was like 'OMG, please let this be finished'. I worked on this for, like, two days off and on. x_x I hope I get something out of it, at least. :P Base is from Pinkies, as well.

Today was spent getting money from Labor Ready, chatting with Lynn and my mom at the laundromat, thrift storing and buying TJ the reptile I promised her.

I got two pretty fantastically ugly dresses from the Salvation Army today. This ugly yellow thing and this not-so-ugly pink thing. I actually really like the pink one, cause it's really flowy and soft, but the waist is waaaaaaaaaaay too small for me, so I'll have to find some way to fix that. I've got such a great ugly skirt collection going on. XD TJ managed to find a pair of Cafeinee pants in like-new condition for, like, $5. I wanted them, but they wern't my size, so I bought them for her. Like the freaking neon green pants I wanted but were her size instead. >_o

We wound up out in Boardman at the pet stores. I already promised TJ one more pet, a reptile, but no more rodents. I didn't expect her to find something so soon, but she did find a great deal on leopard geckos at Pet Supplies Plus in Boardman. So I couldn't go back on my word, so we picked up a cute little girl with alot of yellow on her. She's EXTREMELY sociable. I didn't expect them to be, at all. She likes exploring TJ's head and her face. We named her Meruange (sp?). She's really damn cute, too. o_o

I need to get up at 5 freaking AM to go down to Labor Ready to see if they have work. I don't want to work mornings. At all. Really. I don't function well in the morning. But I kinda have to if I want money tomorrow, cause we're going to see The Grudge with Rob and Dina and her boyfriend tomorrow night. So working 2nd or 3rd shift would put a dampner in that plan. :P

There's, like, a thousand things I need to do. And I have no time. Aaaaaugh.

I need a computer desk. Please set up a 'Buy Ally A Computer Desk So Her Back Will Cease Aching Because She Has To Sit On The Floor And Use The Computer' fund.

Today is teh_lazy. Hunting for the wire so I can work on TJ's Hellboy tail and, uh, loafing. We've gotta get a heat lamp for Gojira and then we're going to see The Grudge tonight. But other than that, nothin's goin' on. I slept through the alarm this morning, so I didn't go to Labor Ready. they haven't called, either, so there must not be anything going out this afternoon. I guess I 'woke up' and yelled at the alarm, then turned it off, as TJ informed me. Damned if I know, I don't remember it.

I need to tidy up the living room a bit today. Organize the animal cages and make it look not-so-cluttered. I also need to dig plushies out of the living room closet for TJ at some point in the near future. But the Nintendo display and the computer are in front of said closet, so I don't see that happening any time immediately...

I will work on commissions today! PROMISE! o_o;;; At least get the Furbid one sketched out some more and scan up the progress on ladylysanders' commission. And I'll hopefully squeeze in scanning/inking/maybe coloring Guruubii's art trade. :P And, OMG, do I need to get the Colossal Con stuff done. x_x

Stuff and ART!

Kaki of Angel, done on Bara's board. Of course. Nothing all that special. Spent over an hour on it. Mostly on the inking. And I actually tone shaded it and it came out nice! Yee! :D I'm gradually redesigning Angel and this those off her back scars (which she really always had, I jsut never drew them. The wings are simply chibi-wings or wings I feel like putting there for the hell of it.) and a different face marking. I haven't gotten around to drawing her new hairstyle which is really just the regular brown hair with different colors streaks/highlights in it. :D I also totally forgot her ears. That is not part of the redesign, just part of my stupidity.

We also discovered that, when a leopard gecko doesn't like you moving your head and hair around it will voice it's opinion. In a very loud and creepy shriek. We were quite suprised when Merangue decided she was going to scream at TJ cause she was moving too much and Merangue just didn't like it. It's very, uh, shocking to hear a reptile make a noise like that. >_o

I should really be getting to bed, cause I've got to attempt to get up for Labor Ready in the morning. And the stupid survey placy in the mall, where I put in an application a few months ago, called and schedualed me an interview. I figure I'll go in if nothing else comes up and then I'll tell them that I'd rather do the computer work than stand around the mall concourse and bother people. :P
