Snow!

So, today marks the first REAL snowfall of the year. Sure, it flurried a bit earlier this month. But this morning, I woke up to snow on everything. Freaking beautiful. Usually I want nothing to do with snow, but I was unusually chipper about it this morning. Mostly because it was completely untouched. I was the first person to leave the building this morning. I actually wanted to go out and clean TJ's car off despite it being frigid and cold out.

Or maybe I just miss being, like, 10 again. And not worrying about how cold it was out or anything. Just going out and having snowball fights and building forts and sledding. I swear kids have tougher skin than adults. Cause I was never worried about getting cold and would play outside for hours before I determined that, yes, it was cold and I should go warm up before my toes fall off.

I also miss wintertime in the country. Because waking up to the first snowfall out there was just breathtaking. Plus, it's so peaceful.

Anyhow, I guess I'm mostly happy cause I had a nice, full autumn. Cause my fall season is from September to November. And usually it starts snowing in October/November. But it didn't this year, plus we got a could 60-something days in November. And, in my mind, it's not supposed to snow until around Thanksgiving. And I was victorious this year! Now, hopefully we won't have a fantastically crappy winter.

Although, it is time to break out my winter clothes. Which consists of...sweaters. Yes. Until my mom pitches a fit at me for not wearing a winter coat and I point out that she used to go through winter in shorts. So I win!

The only thing I'm missing is some hot chocolate with marshmallows. <3

Also, I managed to salvage my old blog from GeoCities. Cause I really didn't want to lose almost a year and a half of journaling prior to my LJ. You can find the blog here. Unfortunately, all the entries in the archives are listed backwards. Like, the the 1st at the bottom of the page, and the 31st at the top. Stupid Blogger.

I've gotta catch the bus to work. Yay. No the snow's not looking so nice cause I have to go out and -walk- in it. Augh. Ah well. TJ's staying at work until 3PM, cause there's no one else coming in between 1PM and 4PM (when I go in). Which means it must be busy or something. I really hope the mall closes at 10PM tonight. Cause I get off at 9PM and I really don't want to close. Blah.
