Jul. 24th, 2003 11:18 amFuckin' christ. The one day I can actually sleep in before work, and EVERYONE decides to call before noon. Cause me to be awake NOW. Which makes me relatively unhappy. But I'll live. I did get more sleep than I usually get.
So, anyhow. Flood watches/warnings like crazy around here. Plus, we had a tornado touch down somewhere downtown. I guess near Packard Park. Must not have done any damage/been all that threatening, cause I haven't heard anything else about it. And no one seemed all that concerned. Got out of MCI and hour early, though. That's a plus. On top of that, the Mahoning river is, like, 19 feet above flood level. Yeah. All of Pine St. is underwater. And the railrod tracks from my side of town, all the way to the cemetary on they way out to Niles is underwater. Both the parks are completely flooded. I'd like to go and take pictures before it all goes down, but I don't know if I'll be able to. :P
Ran into Matt and Joanna at Walmart last night. I was telling them, in high, irate tones, about how the Hag is a dumb bitch who won't go get a car and a job. And I didn't realize she was sitting nearby on the bench until Matt started looking a little worried. But I just smiled at her and went about my buisness. Then, this morning, I hear her telling TJ how she's trying to get the car so she can get a job and pay TJ back the money she had to pay to the insurance. :3
I'm so damn good.
Today, I have work at 4PM. Just MCI. And that's just 6 hours of sitting on my ass. I'm gradually becoming less and less stressed about the job. Cause, I mean, it's just calling people. And if I get hung up on or cussed at, big deal. I laugh that shit off anyhow. So, I wouldn't mind staying if I can stick to it. Cause, I mean, who wouldn't want to be making $30,000 and up a year? And have commas in their paycheck. And I know it can happen, too, cause a few of my friends have worked there.
Plus, I want that damn official Matrix Reloaded cellphone. :9~~~ Yumyum. And I want to have extra money outside of bills and shit.
So I'm gonna try. But I'm not gonna get my hopes up about it or anything.
