Meeeeeeeeeee!
Aug. 30th, 2002 10:31 amWoot. Day off. Nice day off, too. It's only 10AM, I'm jamming to Pink Floyd, reading Fast and the Furious fanfiction and eating Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Aw yeeeah. ^_^
Work was good. Got about $7 in tips. It doesn't seem like alot, but none of us there actually waitress. So tips are completley optional from the customers. And then they get split up between whoever's working.
Anyways, here's the run down of who I usually work with, or who I've met:
Aleena: She's cool. She just bought a house and is barely 18. Her mom kicked her out when she was 15 and she's been on her own ever since. She knows a few people I used to hang out with from Southington. And she's been to alot of different schools. She got kicked off the cheerleading squad (after working her ass of to get there) for decking the captian. Then decided 'fuck them, I don't want to be like that'. I can relate to her the most. She's cool.
Angel: She reminds me of my one friend Stephanie. She's tiny and short. She's nice, too, but she started to get kind of irritating near the end of the evening.
Val: Val's cool. She' really nice and doesn't prod at me to constantly do something when there's nothing to do.
Maria: I don't like her. But, hopefully, since I'm working evenings, I won't have to work with her. >_<
Krista: She's really nice, and managed to get me Sunday off. Which rocks.
Nick: Nick hired me and he's cool. He's always tellin' me to stick with one of the girls, cause it's the only way I'll learn. ^_^;;
And that's all I can remember. There's George, too. He owns the resturant. He's got an Italian accent. People with accents rock. ^_^
Right then. I work tomorrow. 4PM-12AM. Whee. o_o But, I'm off Sunday, and, I do believe, Monday. Since it's Labor Day and I don't think we're open. Me and TJ are going out to the fair Sunday night. Wheee! And she get's paid today. I won't get paid until sometime around the 13th. :P Feh. But, I'll be getting my paycheck, plus the money from the day I went to the job program. Which should be, maybe $20. But it's a little something extra, at least. ^_^
